Don't count some modern bmw models out, their reliability is alright. You can't neglect them the way you can neglect a yammie or a zuki though, but then again you shouldn't do that for anything. The bmw is basically just an upmarket gsxs.

Go for the Suzuki S1000 and simply use the cost different to buy the Yoshimura full exhaust system and OZ Racing forged wheels. (Weight reduce over 10kg.)

Yamaha offers the SP model, with semi-active suspension by O'hlins, version 2.1, which is the most advanced today. In the electronics aid section, you should add the adjustability of this suspension too. Obviously, you are biased towards bmw with the myriad of electronic problems. No matter what you do, Yamaha and Suzuki are selling 10 times more MT-10 and GSX than all bmw combined. Check the numbers!

Bro in my case i have the Suz With serious upgrades e 85 kit carbon wheels Solise lithium 🔋 pair system,plug in Dominator exhaust Line 😅 sprint filter P08 i have take off the valve engine too...next step IS SAMCO hoses N clamps...i have an ECU FLash N dyno tune 167HP at the crank😊 but😮 U Know What forget about it the best is the GSX S 950 A2 with ECU FLash Dyno tune all the stuff U Can have the same result 😂true story they do a blipper kit shifter up/down Ask to preparator for 7k € or$ +upgrades U Can have a Monster...

Cross plane delivers power to the wheels in different pulses from flat plane which is what makes it easier in my opinion to ride heavy torque machines such as when exiting corners. The Cross plane format itself does not produce more torque, just a different characteristic engine.

Due to their firing order, they have a much more broad spread of torque. While even firing orders like regular I4s or p twins tend to be a little peaky, this is why V configuration engines are superior, less inertia with a shorter crankshaft, smoother power delivery due to balance, more torque in all it's powerband, and ultimately it has less fictional losses making more power. I really don't understand why a company like Honda would give up something that made people look up to them, we really don't need a fireblade for our superbike, we need an rvf1000r, even if it's more expensive..
