Supermono it's just great family style fun with friends racing Krämer 690 Croft Mike Spike Edwards

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Supermono is very close to my heart - I've loved racing the bikes for years - all different shapes and sizes, enjoying lots of success along the way.
At Croft for the CMRC event, riding a ‪@KraemerMotorcycles‬ I was under the lap record in testing, again in qualifying, set pole position and won the race.
It was great to see the resurgence of the Supermono class in the UK, proper family style racing, with a special comaderrie amongst the competitors.
It was also good to meet ‪@BionicBikers‬ who are invited to the CMRC events to make event videos so you can enjoy the racing atmosphere comfort of your armchair.

Its the way I like to race, get out front and open up a gap then control the race from the front.

It's interesting the difference in the lines there. Take the final corner on the first lap (11:07). The following bikes close the gap right up and look to be threatening. But you'd been planning on the exit the whole time and make what looks like almost a second on them just on the front straight. They made a fair amount of time on entry, but then lost a huge amount of time on exit in comparison.

Well spotted, a corner like that has a few line dependant upon what you want or need to do. I wanted the fastest way around and particularly a faster exit so took a sweeping line around the corner, the only issue is tactically you are open to a dive bombing rider beating me to the apex, its a calculated risk.
