Yes but she's talking about a first date, which I think is a little different.

@@sylessyl "Deutsch" is the German word for German so in fact it's not the same because the Netherlands and Germany are not the same just the words sound similar;)

@@celinac6743 what i’ve meant when we are talking about the idiomatic expression of splitting the bills we say “we’ve paid like germans” rather than dutch. and in my native language the words representing “deutsch” and “dutch” are quite different.
