"Found it" very last second, this guy is great

I love this show. I use to watch this when I was young. Now that I think about it ; its weird for 10 to 14 to love this show. Well glad I found it now I watch when I can't sleep.

That was a close, but exciting $5,000 win! I think the answer to the last clue kinda confused Team 1 a bit. That's why they were splitting up for the final product and the hidden cash. The last clue was 'Someone who professionally seeks a reward for capturing a "coconut" thief is known as a "______ hunter".'. Mindy went looking for Bounty paper towels but Robert went for the Bounty candy bars because the first thing the clue said was "coconut". And as if you've been watching the clock, Robert pulled the cash fan out of the shelf with one second left to spare! That is one of the closest, but one of the most exciting $5,000 wins I've ever seen!

It's sad that the yellow team didn't shop better. She wasted too much time; should have been shopping while looking for the items, and should have grabbed the bonus.

Cindy kept jumping like she was on a trampoline weeeee lol.

:38 Shady ass producers trying to hide the Diet Pepsi by shoving it towards the back.....glad they still found it.

Man, it really felt like they were trying to cheat these guys out of a win--the Pepsi was pushed way back, and then they gave a clue that could have been two different things--candy or paper towels. That seems unfair. The clue should have made it clear which one. So glad he went for the candy, but it was painful to watch--I could see the specially marked thing, just hoping he'd notice it. Good for them.

how in the heck did they get Diet Pepsi off of "uh huh"? I mean yeah, we've all probably seen the Ray Charles Diet Pepsi ads, but to even have the smarts to think of that with all the pressure of finding 3 items in 60 seconds is amazing.

According to the SS Wiki Episode Guide they weren’t in the ‘92 season. BUZZR is airing the ‘93 season episodes now so their episode might air in the next couple weeks.

Didn't I just love the VHS days ,now DVR has become too expensive.

There's an episode on here where Team 3 got $7!! Can you imagine?!? He didn't take his basket, spent literally ALL his time searching for the shopping list, and only got 2/3.

They gave arbitrary prices to big clumsy items (a $2 broom might be worth $25) to make contestants grab those clumsy items, making it more interesting for viewers. It's why they always grabbed hoses and things. Just part of the show :)

Horrible performance by team #3. You should never waste time screwing around looking for shopping list items when you're in dead last and only have 2 minutes. Her total of $177 was even lower than the totals on the one Mother-Daughter episode on here. I think the lowest total on that episode was $183. This is also the first episode I've seen where none of the teams picked up one of the giant bonus specials.

I saw an even worse performance on one show -- the guy (from team 3) set out without his cart, looking for the shopping list items. He found the first two items, but couldn't find the third -- and he spent the rest of his time looking for it. The only groceries he got were the two shopping list items, for a grand total of $7 -- worst total I have ever seen!

Ellen first selection was jelly beans then vaccuum bag. She finly got cheese and salami. I saw some diapoers too. When they showed ellens cart u could see jelly beans and hoover. . ellen rolled her eyrs before their total was revealed and stacy laughed off the absolute embarrassment. I heard stacy divorced their friendship and spraypainted her apartment

I used to watch this show but also NEVER watched it..... The Version I saw had Tino Monte as Host yeah Not David Ruprecht I'm sure this Version was still good!

First team 3 shopped the second to last absolute worst that i know aside from the $7 guy. Amd team 1 had an awful last clue. That could have very well been bounty paper towels and there wasnt a clue to differentiate one from the other

Why go for bonus items when you dont have the time? Your best bet is to go for big ticket items. To hell with that shopping list.

Actually, it's not. Get all the extra credit you can to make up for your lack of time. This chick wasn't a good example. I've seen a Team 3 with only the freebie 1:30 win the whole thing with that strategy.

@@kittykat94114, yeah, getting the shopping list was very cost effective, but only if you got the items in the course of shopping and knew exactly where they were. If you spend any more than like 30 seconds looking for the items, you're running a deficit compared to just throwing stuff in your cart.
