Es de gran modelista construir kits de moldes antiguos y dejarlos así de bonitos! Eres un artista! Se nota que te lo has pasado muy bien construyendo ese viejo molde de heller... enhorabuena!

Ist doch hübsch geworden deine kleine Spitfire. Gefällt mir gut. Deine selbst erstellten Markierungen sehen am fertigen Modell spitze aus

De Lan Danke, ja nachdem alles fertig ist gefällt es mir auch gut wo ich zunächst skeptisch war. Es ist und bleibt trotzdem ein unterdurchschnittlicher Bausatz, wo es schwer ist etwas ansehnliches daraus zu machen.

Sein sie froh, das die Form die hier verwendet wurde von einem Heller Bausatzau aus den späten 70er stammt und noch einiger maßen in Schuss ist. Versuchen sie sich mal an einer Bf 109 von Mistercraft, die basieren auf den Bausatzformen von Intech, da ist die Bezeichnung unterdurchschnittlich sogar noch eine Belobigung.

Polish_modeller Dziękuję, zestaw jest bardzo przeciętny i trudno jest zrobić z niego coś przyzwoitego. Ale to jest właśnie wyzwanie dla modelarza. Myślę, że mogę być zadowolony z wyniku. Gdybym liczył nakład pracy to wystarczyłoby na 10 000 wyswietleń. 😁 Czas pokaże

Geiler Build. Macht Lust auf eine Spit. Auch wenn sie ihre Schwächen haben, im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sind die Smer und Mistercraft eigentlich schon ganz okay.

And who says that u can't get great results from cheapest models! Mistercraft kits are mostly suffering from the lack of interior details but the exterior looks pretty well. Happy Battle of Britain anniversary. Stay safe in this war against virus.

TabletopWienWest Wenn man mit Enamels arbeiten möchte hat Humbrol halt die größte Farbpalette. Ich finde die Vallejos sind halt heutzutage für einen Anfänger die einfachste Lösung. Ich selber habe eine sehr variable Farbsammlung da ist alles dabei.. Humbrol, Revell, Vallejo, Citadel, Tamiya. Ganz gewöhnlichen Terpentinersatz nur nicht dieses entaromasierte Zeug, damit verklumpen die Pigmente bei den Metallics.

There‘s something terribly wrong with the canopy, cant help. Your final show off of the model seems to me to be a little bit hasty, isnt it? The canopy? I‘ve worked on Mistercraft kits too, Bf 109s mostly. You have to fix things here and there but overall not too bad. The authenticity regarding the proportions of the plane is astonishing good, I think. You finished it masterly, anyway.

How to thin the enamel paints?

Hello, i take White Sprit (Lakkbenzin) in a Ratio 50-55 % Paint to 45-50 % Thinner

Great job. The Spitfire turned out wonderfully. Build and paintwork are top notch. I like the stencil lettering you made. Happy modeling. Bill PS: too bad there was no pilot figure for the cockpit.

PanzermansBunker Thanks Bill, I'm glad you like it. I made every effort to make everything as it is. A pilot figure would not be bad but unfortunately the canopy is not so clear that you would see it well. Greetings Mattias

Applying an acrylic clear floor wax to the canopy will restore it to a see through state. Try Johnson's/Pledge/Future floor wax. Good luck. Bill

PanzermansBunker I've polished the canopy with tamiya compound and dipped it into Future but the moulding of the canopy is so bad that it was impossible to get it as clear as i wanted.
