I love the idea of Black Adam getting his own movie before running in with Shazam. I've always found him to be a way too good and powerful a character to just be a side character in a movie. His origin story of how the power corrupted him could be very interesting if done well

@@Jv_boi Actually, that makes perfect sense. And there have been many great movies with the bad guy as the protagonist. This is by no means a new concept. Besides, it is the only way to do BA's origin justice. Since BA didn't just start as a bad guy. He was given the powers of SHAZAM by the Wizard. Do you think the Wizard would give powers to a villain? BA was initially a good guy. That's why he got his powers. Him becoming a power hungry tyrant was very much a product of circumstances. Much like Magneto from X men. Would you say the same thing about Magneto? That an origin story with him as the protagonist would be a bad idea? I don't think so. Infact, watch X men first class, that shows exactly what I'm talking about.

We better get a live action version of this - Zachary Levi teaming up with Henry Cavill facing off against The Rock.

Second of all, I can tell you barely know anything about Superman since you only mentioned movie DCEU Superman who is nowhere near what Superman is like. You only know the movies and that’s where you are wrong, Superman is way, way, way better at being a protector of the innocent in comics, and the dc animated universe tv show. while goku nearly extinguished the whole universe by creating the tournament of power for reminding Zeno. Learn more about both characters, then come talk to me about who’s a better hero

That's because he gets slapped around a little too much in this animated short. The staff at DC Animation do this all the time. I must have seen this in a bazillion animated movies and t.v. series with Superman. For 3/4ths of the fight, Superman gets his ass handed to him, only to emerge victorious in the final quarter or act. The DC Animation staff does this so much that you can set your clock by them. I feel that this mindset of having Superman excessively getting beat up was set in motion by Bruce Timm and company as far back as when Superman: The Animated Series was on, but they really kicked it into overdrive when they started Justice League and that paradigm has been followed ever since. They don't treat any other hero that way except for Superman, especially not the golden boy of Gotham City. I'm not saying Superman shouldn't be challenged or he shouldn't put in the work to earn a victory, but I wish the animators and storytellers would give him more credit for his combat skills.

It’s like they give any character that fights him (Batman in particular) insane plot armor and let them kick him around for the majority of the fight. Then he finally utilizes his full ability and wins in the end. They also like to portray him as a dumb brute now thanks to the dark knight rises even though his abilities are mental as much as physical. He’s DC’s favorite whipping boy to try to make other characters look strong which is ridiculous

@F & M Part of this problem is also attributed to Frank Miller. Ever since he depicted that legendary fight between Batman and Superman in "The Dark Knight Returns," almost everyone takes it as Gospel that somehow, Batman will always be victorious if he engages in battle with Superman.

He has more resistance these day. He actually broke a spell with strength of his will.

This was a great film for both Captain Marvel and Superman wish it was longer

I forgot this was a 2min video. I got hooked.

Dwyane has evolved as an actor over the years and is much more dedicated now than he used to be . Even though he does mostly popcorn flicks, he gives his 100 percent for every role he does. I am sure he will do an egyptian accent if the director wants him to do it.

I haven't seen much range from Johnson to be honest, he has the build but pulling off that accent is something I'm not sure he would do

Trucks, buildings are just a bowling ball for them

I thought his resistance was stronger than normal. It's not a weakness, it's he has a higher resistance than others but it still bites.

Someone like Shazam can tank magic, Superman doesn't have special ability to tank magic, his body allow him to tank every physical type of damage, he also have some mental barriers, but magic is something different in DC universe. It doesn't mean Superman would become weak against every magic attack, it just mean it works against him.

Supes is definitely holding back in this fight. Imagine if he.... Cut loose.... Showing Black Adam just how powerful he really is!
