Honestly not too worried, am I a bit nervous, sure, but I’m not that worried because this is a Superman movie, one of the biggest superheroes ever and it’s directed by the guy who made the Guardians of the Galaxy and Peacemaker household names and gave us a good Suicide Squad movie (at least from what I’ve heard, I still need to watch that), meanwhile the last Jurassic World movie we got while sure it made a lot, I’m pretty sure it wasn’t received well and god knows the Fantastic Four have had a rough time on the big screen which might rub off on the movies time at the box office (though hopefully not, let’s hope this will finally be a turning point for the FF), sure Man of Steel wasn’t the most well received movie but it’s still got its fan base and again, we’re talking about Superman here, I’m not saying FF and Jurassic World will flop and Legacy will get like $1 billion but even with that competition and with the toxic Snyder fans who seem like they’re gonna boycott the DCU cause they can’t let go of the past, I’m confident in Legacy cause I trust Gunn and I’m just happy we’re finally gonna get a new Superman movie

You know I always didn’t mind competition between DC & Marvel like to me it’s always reminds me of The Xbox vs PlayStation debates but at the same time I couldn’t stand people who judged the other person harshly for loving a specific brand more like yes we can debate what brand is better? but don’t ever judged someone for loving something more like us Dc/Marvel fans should be happy we still getting CB Projects because back in the day I bet you people didn’t think what we have now was ever gonna happen, so as both a Dc/marvel fan I’m not gonna wish a downfall for one of these movies I’m gonna equally enjoy both and if one is better then the other I’m gonna be honest but overall this should be interesting to see.

I love what you're doing with the Road to superman legacy. It really is build up to the main event. WB really could be doing the same thing. They could take the WWE route and really build up solid promos for a new DC universe kickoff. Behind the scenes and everything. Dc competing with marvel could be done as a collab, like a whole WWF vs WCW Monday night wars type rivalry. I mean that shit would be funny seeing dc and marvel cutting promos on each other😅

This is definitely gotta be Marvel and DC's version Barbenheimer. The real competition is coming. Both Superman and the Fantastic Four are popular characters which I assume both of it have potential to be great blockbusters.

It is likely that the new Jurassic Park will be delayed.

Jurassic World ain’t making that date dude the director they were in talks with just left. Reality is we have so many blockbusters these days they’re gonna pile up

I also like the competition, I’m excited for both; I’m leaning a little bit more towards Superman but I’m not gonna lie that F4 got me jumping a little when the cast was announced. 🎉

Superman won’t be kicked out of IMAX. WB has a deal with IMAX and their films get exclusive rights. When Dune 2 was supposed to release in November, the Marvels wasn’t going to get a IMAX screening because of WB’s deal.

Superman Legecy Vs. Fantastic Four? Whatever happens, happens.

the DCU could be dead on arrival. Man of Steel wasn't my favorite movie ever, but it's going to be hard to make a superman movie that's better than it, or even as good. I'm looking forward to the fantastic four movie more. Or Dune part 2. I can't imagine it's going to make more than those. Or be a better movie. It's not going to be any better than the Marvels. That was a team up movie with a character similar in power to superman. It's just going to be a mid movie like shazam or black adam. it's going to feel like those. except with some cringey forced romance. From the sound of it. What we know is in the plot.

Its all about the general audience now. Not the comic book fans on how will they spend their money. That is if they'll have any money at all come next year.

I don't care if it was Avatar or another Titanic movie. I'm watching Superman Legacy no matter what.

Fantastic four isn't popular among general people. F4 will just have their mcu tag for which people will be seeing it. Superman is more popular than F4 however given mcu's popularity both will have a tough fight. However if it was a sequel of superman movie then only spiderman could beat it.

I think the new Jurrasic world movie might be canceled or at least delayed because the director left due to creative differences.

Even as a much bigger DC fan, Fantastic Four wins for me. It’s one of the only Marvel projects that can get me excited at this point.

I’ll say Superman legacy & The Fantastic 4 will both make $1 Billion & The Batman Part 2 $1.5 Billion, Captain BNW $1 Billion, The Thunderbolts $ 750 Million, Blade reboot $ 900 Million

I hope The Fantastic Four and Jurassic World both demolish Superman Legacy. Nobody asked for James Gunn's lame reboot anyway. The fan base wanted a conclusion to the Snyderverse.

It will be the first live-action Superman movie in 12 years and the beginning of a new whole Cinematic universe. The context of summer 2025 will need to be pretty bad if a movie like this one is released in theaters and people don't care.

DC and Marvel competing at the box office (and more importantly, both sides taking themselves seriously) is something I wish we had gotten back when the MCU had just started.

As a proper DC fan, I can't wait to see Legacy bomb! 😂 My money is on JW and F4 for sure! The sooner Gunn get out of there, the better.

No, I don't think the MCU got bad when DC started giving up on their movies, as you say.
