SUPERMAN 1978 Facts You Didn't Know!

Фильм және анимация

Fun fact alert for all the Superman fans out there! In the 1978 film, Marlon Brando, who played Jor-El, the father of Superman, had a unique method of memorizing his lines. During the scene where he's supposed to be putting baby Kal-El into an escape pod. Instead of learning his lines like a regular actor, Marlon went all out and read his lines from the diaper of the baby! Brando told director Richard Donner that he wanted to record the first time he read the lines, to keep his performance fresh and avoid over-rehearsing. That's one way to make sure your performance is full of... surprises. #shorts #superman #didyouknow #moviefacts #moviedetails #supermanlegacy

He didn't care about being an actor or learn his lines, no passion, even Chris Reeve said he didn't care, just came, did a bit and left, nothing good about that.

Why is everyone downing Brando? He was a legend. He read cue cards so he would sound genuine. As if he was saying the lines for the first time... and he was. Pretty smart if you ask me.

He didn't read his lines off the baby's diaper. He placed a card NEXT to the baby with his lines on it. He used this method many times in many films. Even Richard Donner said so in the DVD documentary track.
