+Yellow King Its a shaped charge explosive. Hes relatively safe from the explosion as all the fragments will be going away from him and the blast is not that great either. Same stuff they use in cutting steel when blowing up a building (like the hospital in batman). And now i think about it, the warhead will not actually explode. The explosive has a primer that is activated by the spinning motion of the rocket, and will only be primed a few dozens meters after it leaves the tube. So it is just a giant kinetic projectile before that. The shooter however, will be seriously burnt from the back blast of the rocket engine when its leaving the tube.
