I love how she looks here! Her own unique style, not just copying the colors of her cousin as is shown in different adaptations

Yeah, and even a guy who grows to a GIANT size got his ass beaten by her. The giant robot thingy also got destroyed by her. Doesn't matter their size, even if her opponent's size is larger than her's or even if they're a giant, they'd still get destroyed by the almighty Supergirl.

She is. Though SG started off as a rookie using brute force, strength and power. Then when she had her new uniform, her fighting style improved on the defensive side.

Supergirl is honestly one of the greatest DC heroines period. As a 90s kid, I grew up on the adventures of Superman and Batman till the 2000s when they founded the Justice League and then got to meet the spunky, sassy and sweet Kara Zor-El. I’ve always loved supergirl but her recently appearance in the video game Injustice 2 makes me fall hard for her. She’s a tragic hero seeing her family and home taken from her by brainiac and the man her own younger cousin became.

It was today, when I found out the voice of Supergirl was the older daughter in The Nanny sitcom. Mind blowing 🤯

One of the many crushes in this show since elementary dang i love super girl

To this day I still hope for another JLAS. I honestly think the writers believed in such a possibility because the JLU finale left out a lot of unanswered questions and untapped possibilities, like Darkseid and Lex Luthor's escape from the Source Wall and Galatea's fate. If we get another show, it should start off taking place before the movie Justice League VS. The Fatal Five - which I'm pretty sure takes place in this animated universe due to the art style - so we can witness Miss Martian and Limelight's introduction, who were already acquainted with the League members that were used for the movie. I mentioned Galatea. Galatea was alive when Supergirl defeated her, but she completely vanished from the story, unlike Blockbuster, who we actually saw take off (and needs to make a return, too. I'm pretty interested in how the writers would go with his character cause of *who* became Blockbuster and the fact that he hadn't changed mentally, at least when he first appeared after transforming into Blockbuster). With Supergirl living in the 31st century with Brainiac V and the Legion of Superheroes, Galatea should reappear for redemption and take Supergirl's place in the Justice League as Power Girl.

U right Fatal Five takes place in the DCAU and you’re speaking facts they should’ve had another series or 2 more seasons of Unlimited could’ve done it for me cause a lot of unanswered questions and the series basically ended on a cliffhanger but it’s still one of the greatest finales I’ve seen

@@nightbot2.234 Sadly, without Kevin Conroy, another Justice League show or season that isn’t like that cringeworthy Justice League: Action series may never happen. It certainly wouldn’t happen with Mark Hamill, anyway, who once called for a cast reunion but now won’t do Joker without Kevin Conroy. Though I’ll admit, I’m not completely torn over Mark retiring from his role as the Joker. It was inevitable. After all, he had admitted that doing the voice had begun to hurt due to his age.

There's a whole episode they forgot to include Kara was fighting an army with a sword because her powers were weakend since the city was feuled by kryptonite

Despite the fact that this version of Kara isn’t Clark’s biological cousin, and comes from Krypton’s sister planet Argo, which is actually supposed to be Argo City on Krypton, this was the Supergirl that I grew up with as a kid. I found her to be insanely cute, sexy, and awesome all at the same time. She had some of the best fights in STAS and JLU, even though I never got the chance to officially see her fights with Galatea, which just from these videos are insane. And just out of curiosity, why does Galatea have such a problem with Kara? If she’s Kara’s clone, and for once is actually stable, at least physically, but not mentally, then why isn’t she with the League working with Kara instead of fighting her?

She was a U.S. government project made in secret (not the first either) as a way to have their own meta equivalent to Superman. She only got found out cause Kara has a psychic link with her that she gets while asleep that shows "another her". Galatea has a problem with her due to the usual "I'm not a clone!" trope that aware clones in shows usually go through.

I've seen Superman TAS, I'm pretty sure she still is Superman's cousin in this universe. As for Galatea, she did try and kill Supergirl because of their psychic link, but at the same time she wanted to fight her, and I believe that's because of a one-sided rivalry Galatea started, in which she believed defeating Supergirl would prove she's better than her

@@teleportedbreadfor3days I think the request was for Clark to treat her like family as she was also the last of her kind and similar to kryptonians. As for Galatea, the issue was that the psychic bond went both ways, and seeing and feeling what Kara did made it so that Galatea felt remorse and was unable to be the killing machine due was trained (and wanted) to be.

The episode Supergirl debuted in just about went out of its way to explain that she's from Argo, which in the DCAU is a neighboring planet of Krypton. Kryptonians and Argonians were related, but only in the similar way that cavemen were related to today's humans.

07:20 didn’t know she was 21 in the tv show. Glad they finally made her a fully legal adult in something.

It's a good hint to the US Government connection through the Zeta Project, Batman Beyond, and the JLU series. The Zeta that became a main character is an upgraded model of the robots made in the JLU era by the government, created decades later.

When me and my friends watched Justice League we had this running joke about how Electricity was the greatest power in the universe because for some reason in this series it always did a number on the Kyrptonians, Lol.

A loot of problems could have been done faster if she just have used her lazers.

In the DCAU, it's usually due to some combo of Supergirl's impulsiveness, relative lack of experience, and the fact that she often goes up against Superman-level threats and beyond while not being nearly as powerful as Supes.

SG starts off as a rookie using brute force, strength, and power which leads to getting beat up a lot, but sometimes winning as well . But as time goes on and with a new uniform, she becomes mature, dynamic and works on her defensive attacks. All influenced by the heroes she's around including the one that started it all Superman. Still a punching bag, but not as much. As for the live action tv series... well SG gets beat up a lot even by humans.

She's my favourite Supergirl version.

God I love this series so much. Everything about it was so well done, especially compared to the trash we get today. Love how cute and strong Kara is, and how John ends up as her master and father figure. I bet that if this cartoon had come out nowadays, women wouldnt have anything to complain about representation. Forget the hairband, what about her uniform. I mean when fighting with powerful forces like Galatea, her uniform only tears a bit. Then again it is a family show and the material at Argo must be strong.

And they're arrested for destruction of property, and through some kind of paperwork mess-up, these two ladies wind up cellmates in prison...
