Yeah because hes hurt. He can't take to big of a risk. If another one like his first crash in 2017 his career is over.

Lost a lot of respect for Reed. Canards jump was not the best decision, but Reed took an unconventional line and rhythm there so I understood the mistake. A veteran champion should not stoop as low to then intentionally contact and crash another rider not even for a position but just out of spite. What if Canard fell awkward and broke a wrist or collarbone? Reed would feel like quite a chump instead of a champ. Not cool

And it would've been much more likely for Canard to have broken Reed's back by making a dumbass decision than Reed breaking one of Canard's bones because of the takeout, yes it was an accident but it was still a stupid decision that could've had a way worse outcome.

Reed switched his line when Canard was going for the pass. Reed had been going to the outside in that section all night. He knew Canard was right on his fender he should not have crossed over in front of Canard like that. He is a crybaby.
