The most intresting part in all this, is that Lena doesn't have powers yet she is the only human that has saved Supergirl almost as much as Supergirl has saved her. That's what makes this pairing so adorable because against all odds, Lena will go to great lengths pulling almost the impossible to save Supergirl. Sorry but that is a trope is I ever saw one. How can anyone see all that and still say that this does not look anything close to a romantic trope is beyond me.

If she saved Supergirl once and then not care it would make sense because the Super's have always criticized her family and her. But the need to save Supergirl all the time and even arguing with her as if she truly wanted to convince her that she is good only tells me that she is also attracted to Supergirl too but is in love with Kara because to her Kara signifys someone innocent and vulnerable to her. Someone she can actually protect without feeling self conscious about it. Lena is diffinately a top.. hahahaha.

kinda feel like it was a korrasami type of situation. asami was originally meant to be on for just one season AND be the bad guy, but the creators liked her potential so much that they kept the character and eventually made her Korra's endgame love interest. Lena's character is like that. i bet once they considered how good they could make the "luthor vs super/kara hiding her identity/lena trying not replicate her legacy" thing they couldn't let go of it. honestly even without the amazing onscreen chemistry, on paper supercorp is a really good dynamic. which makes me all the more angry that they simply threw all that potential away lmaoo
