Love the sentimental story behind it & the sounds. ❤️

Always loved this model. Many do not. It's the last proper Si hatchback (USDM) Honda made before they went 4 doors. An I loved how the shifters high up in the middle console, very rare (odd to some) location that Honda has never done since. Plan on getting one as a daily while my Evo sits pretty in the garage.

That’s a fantastic build. It really has that quality oem + feel to it. Really well done. Sound epic with that supercharger.

What a down to earth lad. The sentimental aspect of this build puts a bit of shame on a lot of others! The fact he doesn’t seem to care about the social media side of things also speaks a lot. Sometimes, just do it. Don’t shout about it all over the shop. Of course, no offence to Adam and the people who post decent content. Just the people who post filler for adverts and little else…

Adrenaline pumping, youthfully exuberant pocket rocket of fun and character. You don't always need a turbo to have a fast car. Honda were just the best from 1990 to about 2006. Huge aftermarket support as well.

I had an EP3 running 258bhp CPL Racing Kent, I sold it and bought an Evo IX running 520bhp, if I am to be honest I had more fun in the Honda EP3.

Love these cars man such a unique car to Drive and maybe Daily if you have the money to insure it but who doesn't love a K20 Civic Type R Supercharged what a beast this is The True question is Adam would you ever own a EP3 Civic Type R and if so what would you do with the Animal if you had or brought one?

Dc sports 421 to solid fabrication 3" system

I know superchargers give it the low down torque it needs but will always prefer turbos

@Steve Vento you can get fast response turbos. Use a smaller one for faster response. People often think turbos are laggy. Although some aren't. Most the time it's boost threshold with an incorrect inlet manifold

Turbo ep3s are insanely good, but I didn't want to go turbo, the amount of power I'm running fwd is perfect for my setup, any more power I'd be breaking traction too much, without a built gearbox or 4wd

@@jasonboyle7203 different times back then wasn't it, they are 20 years old now! Just think they probably started designing the k series in 98 perhaps?! People say how slow they are standard but for a 2.ol 16v n/a they are incredible at 197bhp. Alot of hot hatches were n/a through the 90s, and when the mk2 focus st turbo made 225 and the megane 225 came out they were basically 20hp extra with a turbo, the k20 is the best 4banger engine ever made 😀

What's up with all the reviews? Are they doing well on the platform?

They are rubbish the standard calipers, and have rebuilt these a couple times, they are reconditioned like new calipers, pads and disc on the front fully working fine, no binding, but just got super hot! Big brake kit desperately needed 😬

The megane brembos are the good ones, had my eye on them, but not ready to spend anymore at the mo, big brake kit will be next year now I think, I chucked new pads in Last weekend bedded them in properly and they've come back to life which is lucky 😁

I was super nervous on camera! Could talk about the car, mods what I've done with it for hours normally, as soon as the camera was rolling I lost my words! I asked Adam before we started to keep me chatting and keep it rolling as I feared I'd loose what I was saying 🤣

Shame Honda recently closed the Swindon factory,end of an era.
