Gingium i make 225whp just from bolt ons and it holds it's own lol. Typical SC setups are around the 300-320whp range. This one is definitely a beast

@@allenmoore7553 Nice. I had FBO and the TSP stage 1 tune. Also coilovers, wheels, stage 4 clutch. It was nice. But I started seeing people blowing up their engines on just a basic tune like mine and I was like nah, I'm good.

i always liked the FA5 the most out of all the civics.

400 hp in an FWD car would normally turn me off, but this Honda seems to put it to the ground easely. It also sounds very good :)

We need Zac Attack's turbo FA5 on here to go head-to-head with this supercharged FA5. That would be an awesome video

Kraftwerks kits don't make too much power. I was considering it for my FG2, but I have since decided to sell the FG2 for an '08 AP2. I plan on throwing a Ptuning kit on it, and see what happens. :p

i like that you're not a narrow minded vtec hater. hondas are a great platform to make awesome power. this is probably the perfect car for someone starting out in the modified car scene

I love how so many people hate on Honda's. Sure a lot of them are slow, but a lot of them are fast as well. This one in particular is decent. Not too shabby, aesthetically looks decent. Performance-wise not bad, 400hp to the wheels is fairly good, especially if it's probably being daily'ed. Just to have enough to fuck around and smoke some haters lol. Loved the video! Check out some of my videos as well, I got boosted Honda's and Acura's and more on there!

David Mudrik Split between 4 wheels its not as impressive. My GC8 had circa 400HP and around 360lb/tq and my 310HP Type R with around 270lbs/tq would kill it off from around 20mph.

Amazing baby. I recently bought a civic exs 2008 blue dark with automatic transmition. I know, it is not the same as the Si, but when you set it on sport mode an use the paddle shifter is amazing how that 1.8l engine i-vtec has that power. it is not a sport car, but it has a very good response, and of course..... that sound!

I love these civics with the euro/jdm front clips.

FG2 is where its at

kraftwerks is the worse kit you can get for an 8th Gen civic. Fitment issues, lack of low and mid range power and torque. from what I can see from the video is that the owner has a Sunk2 (aka Junk2) exhaust that is notorious for drones. You need to find another civic (same generation) but with a roots type blower! it is a night a day difference between both blowers!

Civics, Accords, and Civic Si have been Hondas babies for years now. When I worked at Flow Honda and the first Si came out it was nice. Every year they keep pushing all three of the cars and they are becoming the best and fastest every day drivers around. Honda is one of my favorite car companies. Dodge, and Honda are my top pics in cars but I love a wide range of cars from other people.The owner of that car did it right

I actually really like these years of Si, If I ever get a daily beater, it would def be this or an integra. Make my 5.0 the weekend car

I have a turboed 8th gen si as a second car and my wife has a turboed 9th gen si as her second car. Drive a boosted 9th gen si. That extra .4 liters and extra low end torque in the 9th gen makes the car ridiculously torquey compared to the 8th. My 9th gen si has pretty much taught me to become the master of torque steer lol. I love my 8th though. I don't think I'll ever get tired of making it scream to 8500rpm. I used to have it set at 9000 till I blew the motor at the track. Trying to make this motor its last.

This is why Hondas r the best it's so easy to get power out of them and there still reliable and good on gas so why buy a piece of shit mustang that is unreliable sucks on gas and is heavy as fuck

I had a Fa5 allmotor running 13.6 sec with full boltons an tune with flashpro at the track an not hating either but if I had a mustang 5.0 or a Camaro SS an put the same amount of money into it then it's a different story I would be running 12's with simple boltons an if you wanna add force induction then imagine the outcome ;)

"Easy to get power." As if all of those mods on that car were simple to install and dirt cheap! Please my man. Nothing is wrong with a mustang. I plan to build myself a 5.0 Foxbody real soon. You only prefer Honda's because you must not be able to afford a weekend/sunny day toy and a daily driver so you had to combine them. And do you have a similar set up or close to same HP and still get over 30mpg? Doubt it.

i own a 2008 sedan civic, and i love it! i recently improved brakes and suspension, next this is supercharger plans! Ricers ruined the civic image, but the car itself its a pretty cool car to be your first car, especially in latin countries, where you dont get access to cars like usa or uk...

Owned a 08 coupe and a 2010 coupe. Love love this gen. Only thing is they are kinda slugish when you want to pass someone you gotta down shift a couple gears then you can do it. But very reliable watch out for 08 and older ones 3rd gear pop out issues

Nice review man. Bit late, and i doubt you'll read this, but would love to see you compare this to one of the Civics people are building with twin screw/TVS superchargers. A K20 with a TVS 1320 seems to have a comparable output but a different sort of power curve.

I love the k20 motor. k20 and b18 and f20. is one off the highest horsepower motor. 4 cylinder.

The floor hinged gas pedal in these allows heel-toe-ing to be a breeze.

zack attack needs to make more videos! :) this review is one of my favorites so far.

I like it, but idk what Honda was thinking when designing the look of the car, but it definitely looks better than the coupe.

I do love my Fa5 aside from needing more power. I have been looking into the kraftwerks kit and I think it provides the most performance for the money. The k20 is fantatsic and I beat on the car a lot and over the last 30k miles I've only had normal maintenance.
