I love your videos! Great! 'I've been using the Monport laser engraver for my business for a while now, and it's been a game-changer. The AI-powered features have taken my designs to the next level, allowing me to create intricate and professional-looking engravings with ease. I highly recommend this machine to any laser engraving business looking to supercharge their productivity and creativity.

Just a tip for you guys. I use my own design for stand offs. I place them in the honeycomb to keep material off of the cold honeycomb. When laser cuts thru wood it creates a sap and then it hits cold steel which it sticks to and the bottom of your board. If you use stand offs the sap cools before honeycomb and remains to be smoke. A lot less burning too. Also honeycomb reflects beam back up creating reburning.😊

I was thinking of learning AI to speed up my drawing and designing. Sometimes it can take hours to create a unique drawing to engrave or print. It's not cost effective to spend hours on a single item or design for one coaster or tee-shirt, only to have it possibly fail at market. Then have to repeat the long process of redesigning. I believe AI can help speed up my design process by a lot enabling me to present more designs at once. Your timing for this video is spot on.

Thanks for the quick AI walkthrough, one of the next upgrades for my laser rig is to make it an AI rig when it's not being used for lasering, I want to build my own models but I need to get at least a 12gb nvidia card- probably the 12gb 3060ti since it's the cheapest entry level card that is reasonably fast.

Really cool! Just know that the latest version of photoshop allows you to expand the canvas by using the crop tool. As for aspect ratio, once you're in the crop tool, you can type the aspect ratio you want in the top.

I'm going to guess that you have to be using the paid version of Chat GPT to generate an image. The free version I used says that it cannot create images.

I think it will work, but you need to dance around what you are looking for when you hit Copywritten stuff. Say stuff like middlearth, hobbit, stuff like that.

My input didn't produce anything...after waiting 10 minutes for it to think..I messaged it with "are you still working on my request and it responded with "I'm sorry for any confusion, but I don't have the capability to directly create images. My role is to provide information, answer questions, and assist with various text-based tasks. You can use the provided prompt to input into an AI image generator or work with a graphic designer to bring your vision to life. If you have any questions or need further assistance with the prompt or related topics, feel free to ask!" I asked for a Lord of the Rings theme.

Asside from the morality of using ai generated images (ie you shouldn't be a art thief, just learn to draw) there is the part that multiple festivals and conventions and even websites are banning the sale of AI art from their platform

I get it. This was a special request. I have a fine arts degree. 30 years ago this same uproar happened over photo editing software. 150 years ago Painters argued that photography removed the human touch from the image making process and thus could never be art. So, I guess in 30 years AI will be the norm. This too shall pass.

@@KimandGarrettmakeit the only difference is that none of what you described ever took the human aspect out of the equation, not to mention AI generated images uses stolen art. This needs to be regulated before it gets too wild at the very least ban the competition use

Can’t get past the gangsta’ wannabe movements and actions to take you seriously. Probably some good nuggets of information there but the clownish affect overshadows them.

AI is definitely cool but the prompt/phrase/whatever can get awfully complex for it to understand you. I am hoping the AI makes it to the free programs like Gimp and Inkscape over time as Adobe is WAY too salty for my poor behind lol
