For example the 2016 Viper ACR would be capable of over 200mph but the insane amount of down force it generates limits it to just under 180 and in turn will snap your neck around turns. Different cars are built for different purposes. Some for straight lines, some for corners. Some try to balance the two. Just depends on what someone wants really.

Thats because all those other cars are naturally aspirated running on low density air while tge bugatti has quad turbos that ccompress air to a certain PSI before "holding" that pressure, so the aur density doesnt matter as much because the turbos will compensate for the difference essentially. It also has like twice the horsepower even at sea level so theres that

Well yes considering that the Chiron is designed to use 300 kph tires. The car is electronically limited to lower speeds, 230 or 260 mph depending on the specific electronic key fitted to the car.

It's worth noting they're in the mountains where the elevation level causes the air density to be lower highly affecting the power output of all internal combustion engines. The buggati just drinks so much fuel and has four turbos enabling it to be able to compress enough air to perform adequately at high elevations.

​@@nickyos8640hyper and super don't mean the same things buddy, just because it's a supercar doesn't mean it's fast, it's just super good at doing whatever job it's meant to do. Hyper means fast, very fast, it's not like these cars can go 240mph into corners. A supercar doesn't need to do much adjusting, a hypercar you need to lay really heavy on the brakes, there is a huge difference between a $300,000 sports car and a $4,000,000 monster.

Hard to believe a Porsche only brought 157.4 mph! Was there a hill or not a long straight? My 2004 WRX STi topped out at 173mph (on a flat straight section and had a good few upgrades)

They’re built for those speeds. At certain speeds the steering angle and rate decreases, rebound rate decreases, ride height decreases, springs stiffen, etc. I bet it’s still terrifying, but ive heard they really do handle amazingly well over 200

A Subaru freaking forester with 11 inches of ground clearance holds corners with less transverse weight shift cornering... But ultimately, w/ any vehicle tires, brakes, steering/suspension. I find it pretty unreal how noticeable the tie rod ends really are, there's a reason most German coupes intended for high speed / autobahn have 3 for each front tire... Compared to motorcycles it almost feels like the difference between having a steering damper + properly maintained forks vs the undamped wheelied out, would be leaking, but have no oil, forks, on that $1500 FB marketplace beater zx6r your wondering why is so cheap... Between a TDI golf w/ stock 3 inches of ground clearance and a Ninja 400 ABS, I've also really learned to appreciate the importance of CoG, suspension stiffness, and to appreciate torque curves over hp... Don't give a shit if anyone reads, gotta procrastinate studying for finals more somehow! Got to love Idaho for allowing these beautiful cars to do what they were meant to do on a real road.

The only reason the Red one was slower, was because it had a curved wing on it, and you could see the back wheels lifting off the ground, the Wing was generating lift.

While that Porsche sounded like a propeller engine, that Bugatti sounded like a jet engine 😅😂

This short really hits home just how impressive Bugatti's are. That last one was absolutely RIPPIN IT
