Superbooth 2023: Korg Berlin's Tatsuya Takahashi on Acoustic Synthesis_phase 5
Ғылым және технология
Korg's Berlin offshoot was showing off its new Acoustic Synthesis_phase 5 concept at this year's Superbooth. Right now it's not a product release, but a proof of concept - and an impressive one at that. We caught up with Korg Berlin's Tatsuya Takahashi to find out what it's all about.

Thanks to Tatsuya"s philosophy of accessible synthesizers for the people, and not just pro musicians, I own a whole bunch of analogue instruments which are fun to use and didn't cost me "car money". I hope this new device will be available in similar spirit. Also interesting to see such a prominent synthesizer manufacturer to go out on a limb and showcase a prototype - normally big companies keep a lid on their new developments until the product is ready to be unveiled. It looks like (and it's not just from this interview) Tat's has been given green light to just do his thing and see what happens - nice to have an employer like that.
Very good and interesting explanation how this is working
Let's face it This guy started the whole analogue revival In real terms With the monotron He seems happy This product is fascinating Kudos to music radar Great snapshot of a genius
Neat stuff.
This is funny. Korg opens European office and Uli opens Japanese office, and both had japanese engineers that used to work in the same company. So basically Behringer and Korg is the same company in a lot of ways. Just look at new Behringer prototypes, they even have similar keyboard layout etc.
