How on Earth did you not do size comparisons with Mythic Legions figures and other lines? Depending on the size they would do very well in fantasy displays or dioramas.

If you purchase the LJN retro Super7 Monkian that could be those troops, like the reptilians. Not sure about Jackelman.

Id love to see Super 7 Ultimates produce figures from the animated Hobbit film from Rankin Bass.

I'll pick up one or two, depending on how quick they go to $20-30. For what they are, $100 for the trio should be the Super7 price, but Brian needs to lose a lot more money for us to see these figures at a reasonable value.

This is one of the things that Super7 does very well. Obscure background characters are wonderful for building displays and dioramas.

I actually like them. I didn’t order them but probably in the future if they go on sale.

I totally would have bought these guys at a slightly lower price point. Full price for no-name army builders never sits right with me.

Nice review. I wonder why Super7 is so averse to lumping figures into a box set (except for Ma-Mutt with Mumm-Ra). It would have been fun to have all 3 of these together for a $150.00 price point. And couldn't they have thrown Snarfer in with Snarf's individual release? Anyway, I ordered these from BBTS and still waiting to have them in hand. Also, I don't think it gets said enough - the music you use for your videos is great. Gets stuck in my head a lot. :-P

I like the colour on Brute. He also has the best weapon imo. He's my second favourite after Warrior. He looks like something from Lord Of The Rings. Guard could be Slithe's wife. Still, the design of the Guard is the one I remember seeing the most among the reptilians in the show. Guard has a bit of a Flinstones vibe going on. Fred's rowdy neighbour. I could see a feud brewing there. Fred ain't got time for any nonsense. He's a family man.

I like how they have the same body as Slithe because that was really well done. However, it's not technically accurate. On the other hand, if Super7 had not re-used that body, we probably would not have got these. It's good that we have. People could already army build for Jackalman and Monkian but not necessarily for Slithe, until now. I have two of Jackalman and Monkian. I have Warrior coming but I am slightly tempted by Brute. I wish we had gotten an LJN style Jackalman. I have the original but it would have been good to add LJN inspired Jackalman and Monkian to my other ones. I don't really want to buy the cartoon versions of them for a third time. I think it will happen further down the line but it will likely take a very long time. To me, LJN style Jackalman is a no-brainer because his colours are totally different.

The body molds look quite a bit different to slithe?

I was curious how the video was that short for 3 figs, I understand now. Are they as heavy as Slithe ?
