Your reviews are so good. I was on the fence with this guy, and the way they make no compromises with the sculpt for articulation bums me out. I want to put my action figures into action poses. Otherwise, I would buy a statue. You saved me some cash. Thanks again for your reviews. You rock.

The effects for his elbows are taken directly from the cartoon.

I cantbtell you how many times this figure has fallen over on my shelf. I've tried many poses. The ankles are just too loose

Agreed, the Sky Runner would work better on a display than any other remaining vehicle.

In the cartoon there were no orange rings around the spikes, it was all red ! S7 always say their ultimates are based off the cartoon, but then when you get the figure it's not 100% correct !

I've gotten accustomed to S7 figures being designed with a function-following-form approach. I wish he had more elbow range and a functional ab crunch, though. Remember how much crunch they gave their Slithe figure? And he's kind of a fat bastard too. I still think the factory goofed on the wave 1 figures in this line and mistakenly didn't add the crunch. Bummer. Regardless, I really like the way they all look. And, the wave 2 Mon*Star is my favorite of the line so far.

Both waves have limited range of movement in the arms and near useless torso articulation. And Slythe only had lateral crunch at the waist.

@@dannycruz5446 I just went back and looked at Slythe…and yeah, he doesn’t have a regular crunch. Weird. I just remembered him having better than expected midsection articulation…must have just been that ball-jointed waist. Anyway, I wish they would have given all of the Hawks figures at least that!

The lance is awesome looking but he cant do anything with it due to sub-par articulation. S7 figs always look great but can't move worth a dam... I don't think I'm disappointed with the figure but I wanted to be blown away by this behemoth and that didn't happen.

How come you don't pose the Ultimates with MOTU Classics figs, side by side anymore? 😮

Beautiful wonder

I always thought his torso armour was supposed to look a little like his face from before he transforms. The nose and cheeks, and the uneven fangs. Hell of a chunk of plastic.

While inaccurate, I would love to see an all metallic red version of this figure.

This figure looks good, but the articulation sucks. Bad design choice on the shoulder pads. They should move with the figure’s arms. For as much money as Super 7 charges, and this is the best articulation they can do? Brian Flynn doesn’t believe in hyper articulation, but he forgets he’s not the customer, but he makes the figures based on his taste rather than what the customer wants, which I totally disagree with. For the price point and you don’t get any better articulation than this? Yeah I’m glad I didn’t buy this line or THUNDERCATS. 🤨😒🙄🙄🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️
