I can never bully you for liking magikarp, i like it simply becoz its a goofy fish and evolution: Gyarados. HOWEVER his team is stacked, very good legendaries Ngl, in pokemon verse, he would be slapped, BUT pvp? Its tactics, fair fights techniques and type counters

You can tell this game is played by a lot of confident people. Because man if I rolled out a bunch of legendaries and some dude came at me with a magikarp I'd lose not because of hubris but the teams that seem like they should lose always have the biggest surprises. It's like they don't watch the anime, yet they all act like an anime villain.

Yeah and in Pokemon White I ran a risky high jump kick Scrafty but it was balanced out with shed skin and other more safe dark and fighting moves. My sweepers were Serperior, Dragonite and Volcarona.

Nah. Toxapex, Rocky Helm, Rough Skin, Poison Touch, Sticky Barb, etc. Put those on a good stall mon versus physical attackers and you can technically win without ever landing a hit. For special attackers, destiny bond affects the user so it never has to hit and there are probably other ways to take care of mons without attacking that I'm forgetting. I'm quite sure Temp could get a win out of a no attack team fairly regularly.

@@Sinsults If your strategy is to not attack, then sure. There are plenty of PP stall videos and whatnot. But to miss means you’re using moves that are actively doing nothing because they missed. So no stalling, as moves like recover and substitute don’t “miss”. The only way you’d lose is if you’re actively trying to lose. So ima have to disagree with you hard on that one.

@@J0eMega If you use recover, it doesn't hit anything. If you don't hit anything, you missed. Recover doesn't hit anything, it restores HP. Therefore using recover would mean you still didn't hit with a single move. You're arguing semantics at this point. I'm simply saying that missing every move does not mean losing, as there are ways to win without ever hitting your opponent. If you don't want people arguing something you didn't say, perhaps clearly define your point. Just a suggestion, not trying to sound rude but I realize I can come off that way sometimes.

Remember: when the opponent wins off a crit, it's hax and stupid RNG. When you win off a crit, you were playing to your outs. This is the first step to understanding legendary spammers in showdown.

I've never watched any of your videos before but what made this even better was the amazing choice of sound effects. Snake scream? Yes 😂 Aaaaaaarggghhhhh!

The Endure beatdown was just... beautiful.

That reminds me of someone I fought on Showdown one time. This player had a team full of strong Pokémon (Mythical Pokémon, Legendary Pokémon, and a Mega Garchomp), but didn’t know how to use them. At one point it was my Vileplume versus their Mew. You would think Mew would take out my Vileplume in a heartbeat because it has Psychic-type moves which would get STAB & are super-effective against Poison-types anyway and can learn various Fire, Ice, Steel, and Flying moves. However, this was not the case because this player decided to spam Aqua Tail. Freaking Aqua Tail against a freaking Vileplume. I knocked out Mew with either Petal Dance or Petal Blizzard. When they were down to just one Pokémon, they tried to trick me into losing due to inactivity; it didn’t work and I won. Their last Pokémon was actually very good, so maybe they would have won if they’d actually tried instead of using bad strategies and deceit.

In this one match, my opponent was doing what felt to me like "running the clock down during move selection". Their last pokemon was a fire type, one of my last ones was a water type. Ofcourse that's when the person quit the match. It can be so frustrating.
