CSX! NS! Which way to turn? Back to CSX for the EOT DPU then pivot back to NS! Heck, I was getting exhausted just watching. Toss in a few CSX barking seals and sprinkle in some more great action and you have an excellent video. Enjoyed it greatly, thanks much!

18:35 that's a train...there is nothing like a fully loaded freight train going by you at 80 mph. That's power.

Me and my mom were on one of our trips to Florida on the way home and we stopped at a railroad crossing and there were five locomotives on the head end and I told her to shut the car off because we were going to be there awhile. I counted the cars and they had 275 cars. If I remember right I think we had to wait for like 15 for the track to clear.

Why on every oil tanker train do they have a wheat car behind the locomotives. Everyone I have ever seen.

Imagine if they laid a third rail in the middle of the track like lional and electrified all the diesels by putting a rolling contact for the third-rail likes a toy train 🚂🚃🚃 has. This way it doesn't have a motor does it use sure doesn't use oil and doesn't make smoke. Not being silly but you could put an electric railroad on the moon and it would work as long as it had electricity. It does not need air to provide combustion like a diesel or a steam locomotive does. Just a thought.

Because if they derail then the engines don,t catch on 🔥 and it s a law by the goverment unfortunely,

Did BNSF lead have sequencing ditch lights?

Imagine if we still had 5,000 horsepower modern steam locomotives in service. I trained like the oil train would have 4 modern steam locomotives to match the horsepower of the modern diesels. Steam locomotives require two people. I'm multiple-unit diesel only requires one and that's why they wanted to go to diesels and they would say to the unions that you don't have fireman on electric trains or subway trains or trolleys for that matter either. It was Union featherbedding that kept fireman on the job when they should have been doing something else. Featherbedding of train Cruise with more than enough people to do the work was one of the big causes of many of them going out of business. Of course the fact that the government allowed all the rich people to ship all of the factories to China where they make $2 an hour well that had nothing to do with the railroads going broke either. I'm being sarcastic. It's nice to see a well-maintained neat right-of-way.

Modern locomotives have much more tractive power than Steam locomotives Even ones that have less horsepower.

Only 198cars on that tanker train😊plus the 3 c hp,

I-001 had a Triple Crown on it.
