I love Lisa like this tbh. Max of the kpop artists specially female kpop artists are taught a lot of cutesy stuff & aegyo to attract the audience & viewers. but I love it how Lisa isn't trying to be all cute & lovely. she's not afraid of loosing fans or anything for not acting all cute & dreamy. she's being exactly how a mentor or teacher should be. if a teacher is not strict & doesn't point out everything clearly students will never ever learn. This is why idols shouldn’t be put on pedestals. No one is one dimensional and people who are complaining about this side of lisa need to understand that. Lisa has always been viewed as cutesy and child like. But this shows people that it wasn’t simply that bubbly side that got her to where she is. She was strong and had a strong mindset and work ethic. Her explanation after everything she did and told the trainees makes a lot of sense. She is trying to instill skills and tricks in them that will help them go far. I feel like a lot of her personality is suppressed, so I’m so thankful to this show.

Yes i agree with you, and she was able to do it when she came to Korea at 14, had to come to a country that she didnt even know the language and had to learn it, looking at how tough Korean teaching system was, she had a hella strong mental at her age. damn. i would cry a lot. i bet she cried a lot too but her mental was just strong enough to endure that.

somehow i get the feeling that her being strict in this show is a form of release in a subconscious manner. many people know that yg has been mistreating her financially and in other ways. according to reports she's paid 6 times LESS than the other members of bp, among other things. basically, yg has been discriminating her. so this must've been bottling up inside her subconsciously. unfortunately she released it in awkward moment and place. on the good side, her strict form of educating made the trainees work hard and made them gain very valuable experience and knowledge from her in the end. this is just my opinion.

She looks so hot. Not even kidding. Edit: And yes, we all want Lisa to be there when we wake up to tell us how to improve our lives 😂

The way Lisa is so strict shows how they (Blackpink) were trained so strictly I mean every yg artist had face this toughest training just look at iKON n winner training it was so painfully to watch , anyway m so proud my Lisa ❤️💞

YG training is soooooo hard and gives of pressure so much. I’m not surprised Lisa is this strict because I think it’s really hard to survive in YG when you’re trainee.

She has her own standard of measurement, because she knows that the practice is very tired, and she needs to be more strict with the trainees. To be honest, the standards of China and South Korea's women's league are really far away. I sincerely hope that the trainees can learn some dry goods from Lisa. Lisa's dance is really Top class, it's a real honor for the trainees💜

I seriously LOVE this specific episode. Brings me back to the time when me and my team we're dancing in a small competition and I messed up on a certain routine, my dance coach literally roasted/scolded me for about 5mins infront of my teammates. I know the feeling, it was hard but it was necessary aswell. I appreciate Lisa on this. Didn't expect this, truly a professional. 👌

I feel like people would persuade her as mean but that’s just the amount of vocabulary she has in English. It does sound harsh but that’s just the way she knows how to say it. I am sure that if she had a bigger expansion to her dictionary she wouldn’t be so harsh. And I hate that people call her mean she isn’t that’s just how things should be. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes, she's strict but it's a good thing for both sides, teacher and students. In Thai, she still sounds strict but humble and more reasonable than what subtitles say.

Maybe we are seeing some of that ROK army third military academy training showing through ! Comments were made by other cadets that they were surprised at how tough Lalisa was when she attended. Actress Lee Yubi, who joined the army together with Lisa said: [quote] "Lisa externally seemed so fragile but she was way stronger than I expected."[end quote] After all she has been through in 5 years of very tough training, I am not surprised seeing her as a strict mentor.

If the kpopers in their thinking of Lisa are just being bossy, imagine what she didn't spend in her 5 years as a trainee in the hands of YG. Thats how YHS to them when he assessed them before as YG trainees, well almost all who train in YG because he want them to be the best. And this strictness became YG artists trademark like G-Dragon, B.I, CL, Taeyang and others who evaluates YG trainees as well. ahh, idk if you can see this but i just wan to explain the " what wrong with you" part that Lisa said. So in THAI, the "'What is wrong with you" is the SAME as "what wrong" - there is no different in terms of tone and meaning behind it. so like, when we ask "is there any problems?", we will say "what wrong with you" as a literal translation from Thai language. ahh, yeah, just wanted to clarify...

Lisa can be cute still can be fierce and strict at the same time when it comes to dancing ❤ If i was a trainee, I would barely even speak in front of her 😆

In Thailand, Hook has mostly same meaning as Chorus. It means a part of lyrics that is the most repeated, core idea or catchy.

I don't understand why it shocks so many people that Lisa is strict in practically 4 years of career she never made any missteps. She has always been perfect in all areas. Lisa has always been the most smiling and it's not because she's necessarily happy it's just professionalism. So it doesn't surprise me that she is a perfectionist and she must surely be very hard with herself just to see her journey since she is young she has always given herself thoroughly. She always pushes her limits to be the best. A truly admirable journey, the first on 4000 in auditions in Thailand after she arrives in a foreign country where she is trained by the best teachers in one of the strictest agencies, knowing that in addition she did not know how to speak Korean at all she had to adapt to learn as quickly as possible and despite everything as Jennie said in an interview that when she was trained "Lisa always got an A for everything", it simply means that Lisa was always at the top of their monthly evaluations, whether it was dancing, rapping , compose or sing. She is truly incredible, she is not human.

I think Lisa does a great job, she's a great dance mentor. She's strict or seriously teaching trainees, they can learn a lot from Lisa. This episode 9 Lisa ready unhappy about it, they didn't practice harder. This episode same girls are going to leaving this service show, this is the final test for trainees. They cannot pass this dance or perform, they're going home. Some trainees are nervous a scary, some of the trainees are crying going have a lot of prasure. Look like their stock, they're going to give up. So why Lisa's so super strict to the girls, so why she pushing them so hard.
