Agree. The toughest Bison is the one from the movies in the video game. I could never eat him. You fight him straight of he bat. Try it if you have sega Saturn cd.

It's a bitter sweet joy listening to the music. Brings back certain memories of my teenage years. Especially the time of 1997 when I was 14. That was the time you could see the comet Hale-Bopp in the sky. I played this game with a friend I went to school with. We played a lot of games at that time. Zelda, Secret of Mana and the Street Fighter II series were our favorites. These games are adventurous, touching - and from a nostalgic perspective that I have now - touching in a very personal way . At the beginning of 1998 my friend moved away and we never saw each other again. Now 24 years have past and every now and then I wonder how he did in life, where's he at right now... So every now and then I look up stuff like this video on KZread and bathe in memories.

decent translation....meaning the others (mainly main stage tracks) could've been better and not mega-disappointing as they of course were as a kid-with seventy-five fewer bucks hanging around

This game...no this (1:24) character changed my life. This version of his theme was the first I ever heard and it is my favourite to this day. Started Karate because of him when I was 6 and after 22 years nothing has changed,still karateka,still trying to be like him

Not sure if anyone else saw these or not but they came out with the small Street fighter set of metalfigs, theres a set of 12 I had to have them as soon as i saw them

I only played this a couple of times back in the day, I was more of a platformer/RPG kid. This soundtrack is SO GREAT though! It has that incredible classic Capcom sound that I adore. So good.

I found it funny they had to swap the names over in the West so M.Bison became Balrog, Balrog became Vega and Vega became M Bison, just to avoid copyright issues with Mike Tyson 😁

What we’re hearing right now is the Japanese version of the ost, and assuming you either played that game or listen to that game’s ost, most of the soundfont samples that were used are from Mega Man X1. In the American Version of the game, it used the instrument samples mainly from Mega Man X2.

Man where did the time go? I use to set up all CPU VS CPU MATCHES while I cleaned my room. Miss those days.

Man it was a big change for me to go from Street Fighter 2 to Super Street Fighter 2. Everyone was SO much harder......especially Ryu and Bison. Ryu for Street Fighter 2 Turbo was impossible 😄. And I'll be honest......I think Cammys ending song is pretty killer along with Fei Longs song. I always liked her move when she jumps on your shoulders and flips you over. I was like damn that's kinda hot lmao 😂 Now some moves in this one were more difficult like T Hawks choke slam and Zangiefs spinning moves. I got everyone's down pat though. And the tournaments? Freakin Awesome! I'll always be a Bison fan too. Anyone ever see the Street Fighter 2 V series on DVD? Bison was KILLER in that! Nastiest I've ever seen him. I have no clue why he never fights at full power though. He always seems to attempt to fight at the others level. Why? Just go full power and destroy them. Lol. In that version when he's at full power, he looks blurry and wavey. When he does his psycho crusher.....the look on his face......gives me chills. I'd shit myself if I had to fight someone that looked like he does in that. 😄 They REALLY need to bring a Street fighter anime back. And when SF Alpha 2 came out for SNES, I was like whaaaaat?! In that one you get to fight Shin Akuma. It took YEARS for me to beat him, but I got so good to where even he got beat without hitting me. I'll be honest....I don't like his whole beard whatever look. I liked Akuma as he was in the beginning. And I really love the fact MUGEN has super powerful versions of Ryu, Ken, Bison, and especially Akuma. Wanna see crazy? Look up Rare Akuma or Akuma X.

Guile's theme is still so amazing!

Fun Game: If there's a playoff, i ranked #1 Guile, #2 Vega #3 Ryu # 4 Chun Li. first 4 out are: Sagat, Ken, Fei Long, and Cammy. Those characters are incredibly fast> Sagat has the most powerful "Tiger fireball shots".

I love how the top 4 villains got their own endings

For me, the best music is from SF2, but the most fun playing was this one. I believe it's because you have a few more options and characters. Still it has the vibe of SF2.

This version sounds like it's straight out of Mega Man X. I'm still all about the original SNES port (which was a bit more A Link to the Past.) Blanka's theme song was never again that perfect.

The Snes version of Super Street Fighter 2 was fantastic it had fantastic music which did a brilliant job of emulating the Qsound of the Arcade. All in all a fantastic conversion but the only problem I had with it was that they released Super Street Fighter 2 instead of the brand new Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo that was in the Arcades at the time otherwise this was just like having the Arcade experience at home

I knew the way I remembered the music in SFII wasn't the same as the versions they had in SFV's sf2 music. These were altered in Super Street fighter 2. Guiles sounds way better in this version
