These sketches always kill me with their indirect fourth-wall breaking. Especially that first one. 🤣😂

I’ve often wanted to see some horror movie antagonist plotting their moves. Like does Pennywise make a list of what he’s putting in those fortune cookies? Does Jason swing by the hardware store and test drive a few machetes and power tools before making his final selection? Maybe those Asian well-girls practice their crawling and creepy hair styles. It’s be a show for sure.

My house was haunted when I was a kid. The dang ghost was a jerk though. Instead of the sound of footsteps in the hall the dingus made random creaking sounds at various spots in the house and only when it was very windy outside.

All the houses around here are really old so they just kind of creak all over the place at random. Especially in the winter. The wood shrinks in the dry air and the frost and wind act on it. But they don't usually make the sound of footsteps crossing the floor. I know use an old empty house after dark on a winter night is creepy as hell, especially when the windows are all uncovered, just black voids. The upstairs is dark. Then you start hearing noises. Yeah, good times.

That last sketch feels even more relevant now.
