Having alternate versions of another characters move set does qualify you as a clone. Look at Akuma. Its not a bad thing though, I love both characters.

RialVestro Same series, not same game. Marth starred in 2 FE games : Shadow Dragon and Mystery of the Emblem, the first of which has since been remade and released in the West. Meanwhile, Roy starred in only 1 game, Binding Blade, which has never been released here. Roy did appear as a baby in the end scene of the first English FE, though!

Melee Mewtwo. In Melee his neutral B would also damage enemies while charging. Since Brawl was so unpopular with the community, many people believed (and still do) that's what all he was. It wasn't until later that when aura rage was figured out that people started seeing him as his own character and he definitely shows how different he is Smash 4 since Mewtwo and Lucario can be played side by side in that game.

TBH that part of the trailer pissedd me off, mainly because it's wrong. Xenoblade Chronicles is a very popular game in Japan, yes, but the reason the game is getting a sequel, which infers that a big reason that Shulk is in smash, is because of the game's immense popularity in the west. I know that things like that shouldn't frutstrate me, but they do! >_ Apparently I am also Japanese, lol. A friend at school tried to catch me out (because they think I know everything about Nintendo) because they saw this trailer. They researched Shulk and gave me some questions about the game to answer to prove that I did indeed know him before smash and did clear his game. I got all of the questions right, so now he thinks I'm REALLY amazing with my knowledge of Nintendo games. So thanks for that I guess Smosh! :p

if you go according to Death Battle by ScrewAttack.com Link has a pretty high chance of murdering the shite out of Green Arrow. In that series, Link somehow managed to defeat Cloud Strife from FFVII. Meanwhile, Green Arrow got his ass killed by Hawkeye in yet another tired "Marvel vs. DC" fight. So I'm thinking Link would destroy Arrow. If Cloud can't beat Link, I don't think Green Arrow could either. (meaning that if Cloud's sword can't break or do any harm to Link's INVULNERABLE shield, then neither could Green Arrow's...erm ...arrows.) but again this is all by Death Battle and sometimes i question their outcomes on battles.

If you played Melee competitively, you develop a disease that makes you hate every Smash bros for not being Melee. It's pretty serious and will lead to constantly complaining about how they removed L cancelling while waving their Melee boners around on every smash bros related video. There is no cure but we found suitable treatment known as Project M which seemed to get them out of their comfort zone a little. but with the new instalment, it seems to have made the disease immune to the treatment and are now raging on Smash 4 videos instead of playing their precious God. Maybe we will find a cure someday...

I synced up the audio of the original "Wombo Combo" video to the gag at the end of this video and it is shot for shot accurate from tone, to words used, to even exclamation of things like "Where you at?". It's tiny details like this that make Honest Game Trailers one of my favorite KZread series.

Wait.... I've watched this honest trailer 5 times now and I just realized when they said "Attack of the Clones" they showed Lucario. Lucario??? He's not even close to being a clone or semi-clone of Mewtwo or anyone for that matter. Why not put Ganondorf there instead?

Zenoblade was pretty good but I wouldn't put it in my top 10. I feel like it could have been better if it wasn't limited by the wii's comparatively low graphics (but it's still the best-looking game on the wii, i just feel bad for the designers!), and if there were more interesting ways to walk around the world. The questing system was nice because it got rid of backtracking, but you sort of just pick up every side quest you see and then randomly complete them as you walk to the next story point, which makes me kinda question why they are there in the first place.

Agreed, problem is with it being a limited release in NA not everybody has been able to experience the game :( Hopefully the 3DS port won't have a limited release (assuming it will be released outside of Japan).

No, he isn't. At all. Only move that is slightly (key word: slightly) similar to Mewtwo's is the neutral B move. Lucario's is straight while Mewtwo's travels in a zigzag line.

Israel Gonzalez Lucario is more physical with attacks, his attacks get stronger with the more damage he takes, has a counter, all his regular attacks and smash attacks are different... I could go on but if you think they are clones then you have serious attention span issues.

+Israel Gonzalez His up B teleports, Lucario's flies him of in a direction, His down B stuns enemys when they are facing him, Lucario's is a counter. His Side B is a reflector and picks up enemys and drops them back on the ground, his up smash creates a vortex that enemys move around is, (I forgot what Lucario's is but I'm sure it's diffenrent.) Need I go on?

I never got why people hate Brawl, in my opinion it is the best in the series. It has the most modes and options, and the most content. Sure some of the final smashes could be overpowering but you could always turn smash balls off. I also understand that it was not the most well balanced of the series but to be honest Smash is best enjoyed as a fun party game anyway, it is not exactly the best competitive fighter out there.

It bothers me when people criticize the inclusion of characters like Marth in Smash Bros games. Are players in Japan not allowed to have their favorite characters in these games simply because they didn't release that game outside of Japan? Heck, that Fire Emblem got a remake, and I wouldn't be surprised if Melee had something to do with that. And as far as Shulk goes, Xenoblade Chronicles actually sold quite well in the US and the UK. Just because YOU didn't play it doesn't make Shulk an unrecognizeable character to US audiences.

Xenoblade and Fire emblem were both internationally known IPs before their characters made appereances in ssbx, so it's less about the japanese players but the fans of games that are a little bit more niche. Anyway, over all I agree with you :)

Demibrot Actually, no. The first Fire Emblem to be released outside of Japan came out 2 years after Melee. Melee seems to have actually been a factor in that, to be honest. And even if Melee had come out after that Fire Emblem, that argument would make sense for Lyn or Eliwood, not Marth and Roy.

knowing who shulk was before smash does not make you Japanese. Shulk was heavily requested in America, and Xenoblade was named the best RPG of the year when it came out in the states.
