After painting the hair take it between your thumb and index finger (thumb on top) and massage the bleach in by just moving your fingers up and down almost like a teasing motion. Do this just at the very top of the line not the whole strand and this should help to smooth out any harsh lines.. Just a little tip that might help out! :)

Hello! Awesome video! As a fellow cosmetologist I just want to add a little info because I recently completed a Redken Color Class and learned that the Shades EQ Gloss is supposed to be applied on dry hair and also it needs to process for a full 20 minutes. Since using this method the gloss lasts a lot longer on my clients. Now the whole salon does it this way. We were all sitting in the class going ok we gotta change some things. ♥️

Hey Lexi, is it just the camera angle or did you change the sectioning on the heavy side of her front section to the finer side? It looks more horizontal on the heavy side and more vertical on the other but maybe it's because your sections were going back! Hope that made sense. I would love a video on what your favorite balayage and foil placements are! Love your work

God bless you for putting on soothing music during the silent parts instead of that obnoxious annoying music in most hair videos! When that starts I always have to bail because it shatters my nerves. This was enjoyable to watch.
awesome balayage thanks Lexi!!!!

you make it look easy, giving me courage to DIY. the irony 😅 gracias!
Color is looking so beautiful. It will be appreciates if u share which brand and which shades you use on client hair . Thanks waiting for ur reply I hope u share with us .

Thank you for adding this! In the salon applying it to wet hair for a shorter amount of time works great!
me encantan tus videos Dios te bendiga!♡ fuiste mi maestra!! gracias💚💛💖
Absolutely gorgeous!
Looks very natural. Well done!
Disclaimer: I do not recommend doing your colour at home. Me: 👁️👄👁️
Beautiful 💯 Great job !!
I left the brush comment. It's a chip brush. Like 25 cents per brush. You can even trim the ends of the bristles to stiffen their effect.

@@ErinRaciell No brand. Its a chip brush from the paint section at any hardware store. They're less than a dollar.
Très beau résultat. C'est subtil, c'est classe. Beau travail !

looks beautiful - great work :)
Good video, really nice ambient music. Congrats!!
nice work lexi! I like the music you played in the background, its meditative and relaxing so the viewer can absorb the content of the video. better than those obnoxious techno music that everyone else has on theirs.

Thanks Lexi, the Technique so easy & quick and beautiful. Love to meet in person !
I have used light master for balayage, but I cover it with film. I know it's not designed for open air so I find this application very interesting, as I never would have considered doing it! Nice work
looks beautiful and your technique is the same..! thank you!

Perfecto de todos los que he visto el mejor!!!

Very nice job! I too love SEQ for toning. Can't beat the quality and the time saving it offers. I'll be keeping my eye out for you. *wink*
Very pretty and natural looking! 30 mins for application?! lol I average 45-mins to an hour to apply. I need to step up my game!

Louann Mckethan I asked the same question...it is good to be paid what we’re worth as it takes time and we are all on a schedule and I’m sure it depends on how much product application is needed too! But good question!😉
Loveeee your videos!

I loved this looks so simple and easy
Wow your fantastic...good job 😉👍💜💜💜💜
Hey Lexi, is it just the camera angle or did you change the sectioning on the heavy side of her front section to the finer side? It looks more horizontal on the heavy side and more vertical on the other but maybe it's because your sections were going back! Hope that made sense. I would love a video on what your favorite balayage and foil placements are! Love your work
@LexiDawnMcc

+Thea Lohnes the sectioning for each side is a little different because of how much hair there is. But every person I customize the sectioning so it will be different every time.

Love how it easy it looks and how it turned out. How long does shades eq last before we need a toning session?
Hi I love your videos and I seen you use matrix I'm considering switch products I was wondering if you could do a video breaking down the matrix color lines and what they are used for :)
@LexiDawnMcc
7 жыл бұрын
+Andrew Martinez I actually only use logics by them. I don't really know anything about matrix's other lines.
Gentle backcombing can give an even subtler section start to the lightener.
I love it 🥰
Love it great job.
thank you so much for posting this video, it is very helpful.. I would like to ask what is surface oil?
Lexy, thank you for doing your videos. They really help me out!!
Love the background music very peaceful
This is the best video about balage thank you
So lovely!
It is beautiful!!!
I’m 16 and I have the same exact shade of her hair would you recommend me to give it a go as it’s very natural and just blends in ?!💞
great video! I tried to do this several times but always ended up with weird lines around my roots area bc I would go too high randomly. where do you tend to stop the bleach? I also get really brassy orange hair after bleaching. would eq 6NB be able to remove brassiness too? :)
