Why would any developer care if dev/debug assets get found by anyone?

OMG , man , that is the demonstration of how huge was created the Horizon World , that Guerrilla in the final version decided to reduce , that place look like a draft for Building Creation of Meridian and cauldron , pls dont stop to check all the map edges. ;)

Poor Aloy, now she realises she is living in a simulation. Great stuff exploring out there. I'm hungry for anything HZD. This hints towards either early dev, or even just ideas. Makes me wonder how big the DLC was going to be. I wonder if Forbidden West is a new release, or just a large DLC? Will we be able to take our weapons across to the new game?

I think they played with building there. The stonehenge is so cool, i wish it was in the normal map

I see Sylens has been playing with the fabric of reality, this ain't gonna end well xDD omg this is so amazing, if I had a more powerful PC, I'd buy HZD again just for this maybe if you get on a mount, you can get inside those buildings? often when you are on a mount in inappropriate places, you can go through walls, and with a bit of skill, also underground or upwards

It really heats my computer up trying to make sense of the reality it's rendering. There's a spot ill show in a future video where the camera keeps going under the strider and bouncing around

It’s the dev grounds. These were used for development Thunderjaws looked a lot like something from lagged and aloy was different The castle is the carja tribe

@@kaiburtenshaw2837 Yes, I know it is a dev area, but that doesn't mean the assets aren't used elsewhere. For me, it's fun to try and place some of these assets in the game area, since I can't explore these areas on console.

I haven't, however i just watched that scene again. There's a familiar mountain ive been to, but no metal devil. Maybe they draw it in for the scene but it's not always there. Im going to keep looking

@@PirateTVProductions you actually can’t find the metal devil, it’s a pre rendered cutscene but there is good news, there is a spot out of bounds with a metal devil and eclipse officers there’s also a bump that looks like the head of a metal devil way out of the playable area in the desert

@@PirateTVProductions also there is a spot in the eclipse spot (where you fight hades) there is a spot that could house a metal devil, also the one where the metal devil in the distance makes the most sense because slyness was most likely going to the forbidden west but sing how there’s so at least three metal devils we know about I don’t expect us to only fight one, there’s one witch raps around almost the whole map and I wish the new one will be that big but maybe we could have a quest where you go to the out of bounds area and fight the much smaller eclipse metal devil maybe using one of the other parts of gia similar to how Hephaestus took control of robots in the frozen wilds dlc

This is a way to discover that THE MATRIX is real, isn't it?

I heard it somewhere that the actual horizon zero dawn map is much much bigger than what we see, but while release they just didn't include it. I heard that it was almost 2 to 3 times the original map This is really a vast game 🔥🔥

Some inacabate area of The Frozen Wilds DLC?

Love your work, man! I've noticed when doing the flying mount from the Frozen Wilds that when you get towards the middle of the map there's an unusually tall mountain range directly to the east. Have you tried going out that way? I'm currently installing HZD to a computer where I can try some of this stuff too. I love peaking behind the curtains, lol

yes. i think its on the edge of the frozen wilds. from the east, you can see right through it looking west

@@PirateTVProductions I'm talking about being on the mount above the Sun Ring and looking west. I'm not on PC yet, so the highest I can get is using the FW flying mount. I think I know the other one you're talking about though, over the water to the east, past where the whirlpool is, been wanting to check that out too. You're doing excellent work and I've really enjoyed every video you've put up 😎

I'd be cool if the untextured building with the floating ball was gonna be a holo of the earth showing step by step of how life ended years ago🤔🤔

My best guess, it was a place to store and work on scenery assets. Some of these are used(like the bridge from Meridian), and some aren't(like the ball room, which is why it isn't painted).

Can you find Elizabeth Sobecks house loaded somewhere on the map that appeared at the end and alsoshow the whirlpool up closer tnx

I have a lot of videos on the house, search sobeck ranch. I also put a tallneck in the whirlpool in another video

I know why the ground pops in and out. The groundplane is probably so big that all four points reside outside the clipping planes. When you tilt, one of them comes into view. There may be some other method they're using to clip objects that are out of view, but that's the core of the issue: very very large polygons that are clipped at both ends, and so the middle disappears.

@@PirateTVProductions long, skinny triangles aligned with the camera axis are....big problems. You can't easily subdivide them down to sub-pixel level because they're always too long. And so I'm guessing giant GIANT polys are too! My history is in graphics in the 90's, and I took a hiatus until now. Funny thing is: the issues of keeping renders under a few hours is _exactly the same_ as keeping 120fps without dropping frames! Lol Yay Moore's Law! :)

It has now become a dessert and no more snow

I'm not sure, but I had heard that the map would be 5 times bigger than it is or something like that but due to the capacity of the PS4 it was not possible so they had to reduce it a lot, that I heard, but I am probably wrong

@@PirateTVProductions I would wait how long the loading times will take to be able to play that map wonder, the GTA 5 loads are longer but it offers a great experience, so there would be no problems at least for me with this, why for me it is a waste to have put so much effort into creating such a large map so that we can only play in one area, and I also think it is unfair to those who worked so hard creating those you will be, texturing them and putting the physical
