Jordie is the proven match-winner, by boot, by supply- to -try, or try himself. He has matured into a superb player for sure. Ardie man, cool is the way. If you see the mist and go with, it the boys will too. Apart from discipline, the Canes were bloody awesome I reckon.

Hoping the superman dive shoulder to Jordy's head gets a review - I'm okay with the red on the Wellington player but jeez. A couple of scenes with Rebels appearing to be the aggressors grabbing and throwing Hurricanes players, but then every time you realize it was Dane Coles and think "yeah, he probably had it coming..." 🤣 Exciting game though - great highlight reel...

In all honesty Dane Coles was probably 80% responsible for Ardies yellow. We all know how he is and seeing the boys pile in to save him (again) could have cost them the game {again). Also worrying to see Franks and Aumua getting bullied in the scrums. A champion Super team needs 2 world class front rows but Hurricanes dont have that yet. Was still an excellent game to watch and appreciate the efforts to speed up the game for the spectators. Gordon is still improving and Rebels need him firing to stand any chance this year. Hurricanes were sloppy but Ardie dragged them over the line on his back. Good showing by Hardwick off #17s excellent scrummaging

Yeah, can't understand why the ref is totally okay with this, yet gives a yellow at the 43-minute mark for a much lighter looking offense. Got to say that the ref had a shocker. He was all over the place in terms of controlling the match temperament.

I really like the new red card system, I hope it's implemented at the international level as it'll punish the serious, malicious foul play with a full red card, and make it fairer for those that committed accidental acts of dangerous contact. The only tweak I'd add is have the Half-Red Card become an Orange Card to better distinguish what's a half red card and a full red card.

What the actual fuck was that refereeing? Savea's yellow was completely unjustified. If anything it should have been Coles and Rebels player 4 to be punished. And Mafileo getting punished because the Oz player acted out the fault like he was in broadway... And getting a yellow turned later on into a red, where in the actual multiverse is that allowed? Rebels did not deserve to win and pretty sure they would not have even with 3 more canes in the sin bin.

its a new rule, they can now upgrade a yellow to a red like up to 15 or so minutes after a yellow has been issued.

Bro...30 seconds in CLEAR footage of the Rebel's player smashing Barrett out of the ruck with a shoulder straight to the face. Ref does nothing. TMO does nothing. But then later in the game the Rebel's player whines about the same thing. TMO is involved. Then they decide a yellow is not enough (which it was), a Red is appropriate. Awful. Of course the game got fired up and teetered on being out of control. Inconsistent refereeing is infuriating.

The Rebels' 8 made sure the ref didn't miss the head contact, giving it the big 'un on the floor - fanny. Hope he went off for a HIA. Oh wait - he made an amazing recovery and scored a couple of tries. So glad the Canes won because of that.

I was expecting one hell-of-a fired up Savea when he came back on, but i guess they gave him a couple sleeping pills at half time to prevent that scenario. He was even polite to the ref! When i'm pissed at someone, i don't let it go, especially on the sports field!
