Idk what kind of Fijians you're hanging around with but if you just look at social media posts related to drua and super rugby, you'll always see Fijians never bad mouthing the opposition, and you'll always see them congratulating the victor. It's Kiwi fans that are the least humble, especially Crusaders fans bro the amount of hate I got from Crusaders fans in an instagram post just for saying Drua has potential... I got bombarded with replies saying Drua is nothing special, or the super rugby is wasting time and resources on Drua and Moana because they won't ever make a play off. So proud of our Drua warriors in this quarter finals show with just the 2nd year in Super Rugby. Vinaka vakalevu Coach Mick and your team. Looking forward to the July and August Test matches.

Congrats Saders, hats off Drua for an outstanding 2nd season. Saders had 10+ years fine tuning the playoffs and against a bunch of probably 80% ~ amateurs as of pre season last year, a feat to be proud of 110%..Soko Drua👍🎉

The Drua can be proud of this season, regardless of the score line here. They will be back stronger

Drua played uphill from the first minute. Tela was the cause. He got seven days to practise his kick. But he must be a kind that cannot foresee his own action which will be his contribution to the game and the drua. Anyway thanks for the effort boys but we can do much better. I hope the lesson learnt will fare us well in the world cup. Power game is needed, the flair is always there.

2024 with Kemu Valetini (when Caleb Muntz is recovering from injury), IAR and Isikeli Rabitu will really drive the Drua to exceed expectations, especially with Tela now retired. 😊

Good game that and a nice crowd too.

Saders not giving drua any chances as they know they would be hard to deal with. Either way, drua had a good season, considering their lack of resources and still made the playoffs. I’ve never rooted for the saders, but this season I want them to win because their coach will become the next ABs coach, and I want the ABs to be the powerhouse it once had been for decades, because they’ve been the the Oceanic/Pacific islands avengers against European teams, nations that pushed to limit the Oceanic islands selection pool. Australia and South Africa, too, were our avengers as they, like NZ, always wanted more players available for the islands. Saturday aft - June 10, 2023. Pr2 chkpnt.

Lovely pass from Jordan to set up Ravutaumada's intercept try! But ultimately the Crusaders pack were too much for Drua. Awesome Crusaders pack, fair do's to the buggers.

I am picking a decent win for the Crusaders next week, and a potential loss for the Chiefs next weekend.

Crusaders were always a different beast at home, tough luck Drua but at least the benchmark has been set to try and make the top four next season with more away wins as seen at home.

Who ever is the conditioning coach for the crusaders needs to go! These injuries are not a coincidence!

I'm an official Drua supporter moving forward

A few ideas how to improve Super Rugby Pacific and benefit the game worldwide: #1. Expand the competition into the wider Pacifc Rim. - Create new expansion franchises in the USA and Canada, based on the Pacific Coast (ie. Hawaii or LA for the US, Vancouver for the Canadians). Work together with MLR and the national unions to ensure engagement of top players and buy-in by the major clubs. Time zones are more favorable than SA, there´s copious potential for growth in the North American game and they represent a far more potentially lucrative sports market than SA ever could be. - Revive the Jaguares and Sunwolves, but get the Sunwolves right this time by getting the JRL1 clubs behind it. #2. Loosen /though not totally abandon) restrictions on eligibility for national selection within the competition area. - Either institute a player draft-type concept, which would allow weaker provinces to be reinforced by talent from elsewhere, or adopt a managed policy of loans and transfers within the catchment of SRP, so that players don´t lose the ability to play for their country by say, spending a season or two in one of the other clubs competing in the same tournament. #3. Create a World Club Championship. - SRP organizers and their counterparts in France, Japan, the URC , SLAR, MLR and England´s Premiership should work with World Rugby to form a biannual or triennial competition, whereby the champions of each competition play each other in a sudden-death series at the conclusion of each season. It shouldn´t be every year, in the interest of player welfare, but should be an every-few years event, like the World Cup or a Lions tour. The Drua have shown that an opportunity for minor nations to play with the big boys can produce great entertainment and significant fan engagement, so intelligently managed expansion is the future of the code. South Africa are gone from the Super Rugby fold, and are highly unlikely to return so the organizers of SRP should be looking to their own nearer neighbors and emerging nations to add variety and interest to the competition, something it sorely needs. Just an opinion.

No need for the Sunwolves, just make an Asia-Pacific "Champions Cup" and chuck MLR in there too when they've reached top tier status. But fair point on the Hawaiian team though, would love to see the Kanaloa Hawaii initiative return and the Jags too if they don't go to the URC.

This game was the least interesting to watch the highlights of. Crusaders back touched the ball twice the rest was boring forwards stuff. 🤷‍♂️ As an entertainment product it's not great.

Things would had been different had they played in Fiji.

Crusaders just too good for anyone when it comes to finals, I can’t see the blues beating the saders next week

After watching the highlights of all 4 quarter finals, this one looked the most boring. In the highlights of this game, by my count only 2 backs (other the halfback) touched the ball for the crusaders. Yeah a lot of tries but it's not entertaining to watch in my opinion.

Marshall voice is so enthuse, so knowledge, but we can't have too many boys from Mataura.

Where the tries?

Enough talking it just our Second years ....

This game is like All Blacks vs Nadroga.

Tell that to the refs calls...discipline is what led to crusaders tries...drua inviting them to their own half after so many penalties..all of their tries were scored from short range..

As long as high tackles, stiff arm tackles and shoulder chargers are not allowed in rugby, Fijian teams will never taste success. They don't have the guts to go in low for the tackle. High tackles are for guys who can't defend.
