Big O got some ridiculously nice cutins, damn.

Some say Big O is Batman with a robot. I say it's Daitarn 3 with Space Odyssey 2001.

Big O flying when using Final Stage just doesn't look right to me. Still, excellent video.

I mean, that's already a given when Big O himself has massive thrusters as arms.

I don't know if I am misremembering something, but didn't Big O have the move where Roger punches the button with all the triangles on it and all those chain anchors launch in all directions in the SRW games?

It's scaled down so that all of the units can actually fit on the same screen. Imagine something the size of Shin Getter 1 attacking a variable fighter, or vice versa. The animation would hardly be worth watching because the variable fighter would just be a speck on screen and you wouldn't even SEE the bullets or missiles.

That isn't a good enough reason for it to look ridiculous. Gundam seems to do just fine.

It's much, much easier to scale down a gundam than something the size Big O likely is. (Never seen Big O personally) Besides, Z has some of the worst animation. And if you REALLY want to see something bad look at the scaled up Valkyrie Fighters in Alpha Gaiden. Those things are just weird.
