He has to play the bad guy and will get an upgrade later on with the nightingale. The Shin getter dragon ruined his parade by one hitting him before any of the team like Amuro and Kamille confront him so he is annoyed.

I really like the charging up, that is what i dislike about the recent stoner sunshines.. So frigging fast. xD Though i think the last one was a bit slower. But ther charge up is what makes it so epic and it gives the music the chance to get rolling.

Getter Robo systematically destroying the entirety of Char's forces is a good way to start the day.

I wonder if it came to anyone’s surprise that Shin Getter Dragon could take out an entire Gundam continuity. Or all of them.

Putting a Newtype into a Getter is a recipe for a universe ending disaster.

char is pretty chill for a guy who got killed in an explosion that destroyed everything in a radius of like 100.000 km.

Look at the acceleration of the Shin Getter, a few minutes to travel from Earth to Jupiter, and the pilots withstand it like it was almost nothing, and in Getter Arc the mass produced Getter D2 is heavily suppressed to allow common pilots to pilot it.

@@arx3516 Most notable newtypes were superhumans that's why most of them can pilot without a normal suit in space. But specifically the first main 3 or atleast Ryoma and Jin are superhumans already. The arc pilots are said to be children of the getter.

And to think that Shin Getter Dragon G isn't even The Getter's Final Form.

Emperor only exists after Shin Getter devours mars and evolves into it, its the Getter's final evolution, at this level, the Getter already devoured the entire galaxy, he can not make an appearance that way since everything we know along with the solar system already disappeared. i wont tell you its impossible, but since it devours everything that stays near him, they would give a "history nerf" to make him playable.

@@ashwolf2006 no matter from what universe he belongs, Getter purpose is to devour the entire universe and then back to the Emperor Core, theres no such a thing like a harmless friendly Emperor. because hes smaller doesnt mean hes powerless. anyway having Emperor as playable unit will be either a huge nerf or it will one shot everything in the game, imo the best option is keep Armageddon or bring New Getter.

@@bendtu Yeah i can understand, though i did buy the ones before the last two. OG is still something im excited for! Cant wait for Dairaioh, Dis, valzacard and banpreios! But the last two felt subpar, though i did love a few units. Mazinkaiser was good! G gundam and GGG returning was also awesome. New getter stuff is always good. but the games didnt have much new stuff.. I would basically buy them for the last 3. Give me GGG final, G Gundam, Shin getter dragon, KAiser, Tekkaman and Gundam astray or IBO in 1 game. Good animations and its an insta buy! Jeeg returning would also be cool. Though this one a bit better than the previous srw. The last one really only had kaiser.

PS1 game in the final stage they combined parts Getter Emperor Eagle with Shin Getter to creat this beast! Meanwhile in this game Mushashi becomes pure getter and fuses his soul with shin Dragon to creat this beast meaning in this game all 4 orignal Getter Pilots are tecnicaly working together I also think this is the most symbolic version of his death he was so hot blooded, wanted to protect the earth so badly from invaders and Gunbuster space monsters and wanted to end the fighting between Ryoma and Hyato he himself became the ultimate Getter

Well... we could be getting Devolution in the next game, and they actually have a gigantic (though imperfect) Emperor... and a _six-member_ Getter. Yeah, they literally went there. They have adult (real) and teenage ("physical data") versions of Ryoma, Hayato and Benkei piloting Getter together, and they do a fucking "six heart" Stoner Sunshine into Emperor's face.

@@Sctvita I know it's only from a game but it's still badass and beside SRWs made up Mazinkaizer based on scraped ideas for a 3rd Mazin before Grandizer and we all know hpw popular that mech is XD Also they've used a few novel only Gundams over the years like Xi and Penelope were in V but they are only now this year showing up in animated form so whats the problem with a Getter From a video game showing up in one of these hell I say bring in the other exclusive Getter to that game the female only Getter Robo Zan so we can have more Getter Units in the next SRW game! This series is about mixing things together into something new and diffrent so who cares if it's not orignaly from Apocalypse it's still cool. And if the argument is it should be the getter team from the game piloting it and not the Armegedon version. They've had the orignal 70s TV show getter team use Shin Getter before which they aren't exactly like the manga version so that logic doesn't work eather.

Shame Go amd co. were excluded in T.

DeathkaiserG Shin Getter Dragon G unlike other Getter Robos can’t separate. But it does allow 3 pilots to utilize it and it can create whatever weapon from Liger and Poseidon whenever it needs it. Which is why we see it use Liger’s drill arm and chain attack, and Poseidon’s finger net and using its Getter Cyclone move.

@Chandelier Mirage getter black does exist but it's only Ryoma. It was made using scraps of getter 1 and just got repaired. While we do never see Emperor go other forms... We do See that its still consist of 3 ships. Mazinger has his hardness and Breast Fire, Jeeg has his Build Up. Open Get Attacks are still Cool and Makes getter unique.

it's perma locked in getter dragon mode. but it can still use poseidon and rygar's abilities and weapons. it's just slightly disappointing. that they didn't add the getter cannon and infinite tomahawk boomerang attacks.

The change maneuvers are the weak point of any getter robo, the getter machines are pretty vulnerable when separated, being Shin Dragon an ultimate Getter Robo it overcame all its weaknesses, and can therefore access all the abilities of its alternate forms without exposing itself with the open get. But i think it would be cooler if it could morph into Shin Rygar and Shin Poseidon, like the Shin Dragon in Armageddon and Shin Getter in the old SRW.

Im not gonna call this worst SRW of this gen cause its much more of a challenge than the V and X (you can reach level 90-100 in just 53 stages, much more challenging enemies where starting from mid game you already start to see grunts and bosses having ace bonuses)
