A TV station in the Philippines is making a live action adaptation of Voltes V, with Toei's supervision. I hope that it will go well. Who knows, maybe in the future, SRW will adapt it (though the live action characters will have a new, anime-style art or retain the original anime's artwork)

It is hard to imagine how to film it at all considering the original show’s realism is non-existent. So I really look forward to see how it will turn out. First a French studio made Grendizer video game and now this. Man it just feels good to know these epic robot animes from our childhood are not forgotten at all.

That's a funny attack but considering breastfire is the name of an actual attack it's not the weirdest to come out of super robots

It's cool that Voltes v stage was set in Manila, like the creators of that anime really cared us filipinos, since we are the only guys who loved the most that anime

Nice to see the combination attack again!

Unless they'll request for Akira Kamiya(Kazuya Ryuzaki's VA) to return in the voice fray for SRW30. Or they'll recycle his previous audio clips from old games.

V5 should include his very rare Chodenji Spin move (Only used once in 1 episode) that was executed in his seperate mode (Volt-out)

It's a very normal thing not to be surprised if you played Super Robot Taisen/Super Robot Wars games ever since 1991(SRW Alpha 3 Voltes V for me is still the best). This isn't the first time Voltes V team fought Mazinger's enemies before. But it sure is the first time they fought Mazinger Z INFINITY's enemies.

Kenichi's calling out the attacks doesn't have that "wildness" of the original. I mean, not sure if it's the same VA or not but even if it was, it doesn't sound as powerful as it was in the show.

You unlock a few chapters after downloading the DLC. Playing these additional chapters and you will be able to have the new mechs joining your team permanently.

The actual translation is Heaven Sword. The localizers probably wanted to avoid religious connotations, which was a serious issue in the 80s.

Youre wrong buddy, Tenkuken Translated as "Heavenly Sword", it is a sword stored in Voltes's chest and can also summon lightning. Voltes will typically use this for its finishing move, where it carves a V into the target's chest with two slashes. Remember its from Japan, Lazer sword is just the local phrase used for Filipino dub in Philippines , this game doesnt acknowledge any wording or phrases used in Filipino dubbed.

Nakamarket ang mga laro sa SEA region at Steam PC sa USA. Di gagawin ng Bandai Namco Games ang favor mo dahil Pilipino ka dahil ang english division nila ay mula sa Singapore o di kaya mga fans ng lumang SRW games so no can do yung gusto mo.
