I was asked by a subscriber if creating a quick house and Vectorworks was just as quick as creating a quick house in ArchiCAD. In this movie, you will learn how to import and scale a site plan, import and scale a house plan, trace over the house plan to create a slab, and use that to create walls and roofs.

@@archoncad I am not very familiar with 3D modeling. Here are some topics that would be very helpful for me: -Adjusting and modifying windows and doors (with sun blinds, etc.) -Editing and enhancing 3D sections, particularly the display of all cut lines -Creating and materializing views from 3D plans (floor plans, sections, and views) in various scales (1:100, 1:50, and 1:20)

Man, the dialog is like 5 seconds ahead of the actions - *Edit: it resolves itself at **4:30* good video

In NZ, you can buy the certificate of title for any property from LINZ. www.linz.govt.nz What are you looking for?

@@archoncad Thank you! I am just looking for a pdf, to practice importing, scaling, etc. Was hoping I could somehow get one off GIS maps or google earth, or whatever other option that is free. :)

@@anasnow4633 if you know the size of a boundary or road, you can use google maps, take a screenshot, then import not Vectorworks and scale it.
