Droid Depot but with RC karts. You can purchase a banana that attaches to the back and can be dropped or shell that launches off the front. With an RFID reader, like the crystal reader in the Holocrons and Savi sabers, and if you put a mushroom near it it will run faster, if a banana is detected that is not the one paired with it then the steering goes crazy. If near a shell then it spins and motion is disabled for a moment. So that you could hit your own items, instead of pairing, there could be a plunger or magnetic reed switch. When it is launched it ignores detection for a few seconds after the plunger or magnetic switch opens but then if it comes close it impacts the same as any other banana/shell. This would eliminate the complexity and the need to pair bananas and shells to the kart, but adds in a failure point with the switches.

I read somewhere that there’s going to be a Pokémon themed training academy. Similar to Jedi training academy at Disney.

They should make (even though they won’t :/ ) a Mario themed parkour course. And maybe you have to collect like 3 coins or something and bring them somewhere. I just thought that would be cool

I'd like to see the Animal Crossing presents with balloons floating in the air. I know it'll never happen but it sounds hilarious.

I really hope it will be a success and Nintendo will expand the park by adding more of their IPs. I would love to see the world of Hyrule, DK island, Animal crossing village, Star Fox airwings or Splatoon arena etc.

They should have edible Stars and a huge marshmallow ghost you buy out of a haunted Luigi mansion. 🤤🤤

I wish the PowerUp Band also came in like a light blue for Roselina. I always play as her in MarioKart and she's my absolute favorite characters in the world of Mario

An interactive video game themed park would be incredible. Actually surprised Japan hasn't figured that out, seeing how innovative and attentive they are to that feeling of immersed in the gaming environment...just think of that robot show, Robot Restaurant.

I am so excited about the Mario cart ride! I hope they have all the different characters that you can ride and each one is a different experience. I love Yoshi!

If Nintendo goes beyond their most famous property: Mario, then we can get a few other great things: Like a Legend of Zelda ride, a Star Tours like ride with Team StarFox, a scary dark ride based on Metroid, a Kirby playzone for kids and a real-life PokéPark.

I wish VR/AR glasses were a thing. Like, lightweight glasses you’d just wear the whole day and you’d see floating coins that you could grab, Goombas you cold stomp on. Mushrooms popping out of ? Blocks. I figure they’ll do that with the phone app, but glasses would be so much better... I guess that’ll happen in the future. Since it’s called Super Nintendo World, they’ll definitely add more lands if the Mario Land is successful, which it has to be. How can it fail? But... thinking about it a little more I’m guessing everything else will be an addition rather than a whole new land. I would think Zelda would be next since it’s straight up nerd fantasy, and kind of competes with Disney as far as that Princess and Hero thing. Animal Crossing would be great as a restaurant/resort type area. Of course I would love to see a Metroid Land, but I’m thinking that’ll be like one Buzz Lightyear shooting game attraction. I can’t wait for it to open, but it’s gonna be SO CROWDED in Japan since it’s new and people will be coming from all over the world. Btw, hit me up when you come out to Japan!

Ok, hear me out. You know what would be a really cool ride? You know those shooter rides where you go along a track and shoot targets, like the Buzz Lightyear ride at Disneyland? Do that, but... LUIGI’S MANSION. Also can we please have something Super Mario Galaxy related?! That’s my favorite game! Even if it’s just Rosalina walking around with some of those lumas. I think that’s what they’re called? Also I just had another idea for a ride. A go kart track! I mean come on how awesome would it be to play Mario Kart in real life?!

Yes!

Electronic poke balls that can detect “nearby” Pokémon that you can catch around the park. It would have a display in it so you can see which Pokémon you find.

I want human-sized Mario accessories! I want fire and ice flowers, I want a koopa shell and big man and one up mushrooms and a handheld Mario fireball! Super Mario Galaxy crazy, over-the-top roller coaster! So fun!

Universal Studios Osaka sells really cool plush hats, similar to what Tokyo Disney offers. Got a sweet Jaws and Jurassic Park one last year. I can only imagine they will have plush hats and headbands for all the Mario characters!

You guys just gave them all the cool ideas for merch. I like the coopa shell and yoshi egg. Hope they don’t steal your ideas. You need to be paid for those. LUIGI is the best.

I would probably want like a pokemon world with pokemons everywhere in vr or something. It would also be good if there was something like pokemon go in vr (it would be so cool to catch pokemons that are right in front of you). Ordinary Adventures I was going to go for the first time but then the virus happened, the one plus is I can save a little more money for the trip.

So hype for Super Nintendo World! Team Luigi all the way! I too had plans to go to Japan this year but had to cancel for obvious reasons. Gonna get me a Super Crown (aka. the "princess crown"). ;)

I collect a lot of retro video games, so i'd love to see a place where you could buy some old school 'reproductions' of the classics, or even books or guides of the older games! Also t-shirts of some of the awesome box cover art from NES/SNES titles!

So look forward to this. Think this will be such a huge draw since how global and family friendly Nintendo games are. I think Universal Orlando will have the largest land, looking at the concept art. May have a Donkey Kong land, which think is a nice nod since it all started with Donkey Kong.

You guys look great. I already wanting to go! I think the Mushroom snack should be like a Marshmallow treat or something. Yoshi eggs could be real at some places then like Reese's eggs or something! Coopa shell bowl sounds great! Yes Warp Pipe cups! I'd love that! For Mario and Luigi, they better have a pizza diner. I'd love non-Mario stuff, like Zelda and Animal Crosding. An animal Crossing village would be awesome with all the shops in the game!

Super super excited about this park/land! Can you believe we never went to Universal Hollywood yet? Orlando's we visited back in 2015 but somehow never managed to make time to hit up the CA park. Guess we're going to have to change that when the land opens. ...which hopefully things will feel safer then. 2020 is shaping up to be the first year we haven't visited any parks out there. 😭 (Luigi merch could pull from the Luigi's Mansion series)

I hope that they offer exclusive merch as an incentive to get the high scores. Also, all the merch you said you wanted such as Mario hats and piranha plant puppets already exist.

4:10 it would be cool if when you punched the blocks there is a random chance a plushy fire ball or mushroom will pop out the top. If not you just get coins would be fun and give you a random chance of getting something different

I see it’s already been said but Luigi’s Mansion and riding Yoshi. A Toad hat would be freakin’ awesome hehe!

Imagine if you ordered a mushroom at the restaurant and it gave you maybe 30 minutes of special power up band action, like how it makes Mario bigger 😱

Regarding what you say in the end about other Nintendo franchises, it does seem that the land is going to be very Mario focused at least at first. Having Rides/restaurants/design elements from other franchises might be a bit off theme (though I wonder if other characters could show up - a few of them do show up at Mario Kart and of course everyone's at Smash Bros so it's not totally off theme 😛). What I heard though is that for Universal Orlando there are rumors of a plan to have a mini Zelda land at Islands of Adventure (possibly replacing part of the lost continent) and then possibly Pokemon at universal studios making the three parks each having one of the "big three" Nintendo franchises. Of course this is mostly a combination of hearsay and speculation so who knows. What I kinda want to see is some live music performance. I really like the blues brothers show and the Hogwarts choir show so I'm confident in Universal's ability to make good music shows in their parks. Most on-theme for the current Mario land would be Pauline and the band. Though the problem is they only really have two songs, and one is instrumental. Another show idea I thought of is a K.K. Slider live concert. I would really love that. But that would only happen if they put animal crossing in.

legend of zelda is probably my favorite ip of all time, factoring games, tv shows, movies, books, everything. so I really hope to see a legend of zelda themed area or ride. maybe they could do a Soarin' type ride where you fly across Hyrule on a hang glider like you do in breath of the wild?

Hey guys,great video as usual Q&A: I know you guys don't build lego but are you going tu buy the summer lego galaxy's edge set that is the ship from rise of the resistance ??? The set is great and the minifigures are vi moradi, admiral bek, an astromech and a gonk droid.

I would want an actual go cart track not a virtual one, where you can collect items somehow and hit people with them and it will affect their cart, I would love a Japan candy store, and so much more! I’m excited for this

The castle of Bowser is a maze themed with bowser's castle and when u finish u can do a boss fight with bowser that will be so cool

Metroid needs some love!

Since there are going to be restaurants, I thought it would be cool if they had the Mario Mushroom as a desert. Something like a cupcake, taking on the exact shape of the mushroom.

Maybe you can catch and train a variety of Pokémon creatures at Nintendo world’s creature stall. You can catch creatures such as squirtle, charmander, and bulbasuar that are contained in a giant pokeball cage with a handle on top and you would be able to open it!

I would like the Super Nintendo World themed backpacks like Loungefly.

And obviously being able to see the characters on the Super Mario Galaxy ride. They need to add a Mario party ride from the Mario party games as well.

This is pretty cool, but I think that it sounds more like Super MARIO World instead of Super NINTENDO World. I would like them to put more nintendo themed rides like Kirby, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid, and much more.
