im loving the 3rd party devs making affordable games for the snes. 30 quid vs 500 quid is a win win situation as long as the game is a 100% port and can last the same as an original cart. anyway, i have been sinking my cash into nepros tools lately, effing quality. all the best, mr s.and a good vid. love ya.

Some lovely NTSC additions there matey.. no harm at all with Strictly Limited run games.. only exception id make is if I was going for a full set in which case they'd have to be original.. apart from that if I can get the game and it presents as well in the collection then it's winner winner in my book lol 😎👍

I certainly won’t be going for a full set. And will be getting more official. SNES titles in the future.. I’m just getting a few limited run games that for me aren’t that great and don’t justify the price tag they hold. All the best jay.

I do enjoy a clean downstairs...great additions and great box art. Is good tho like you say if your patient then you can get the titles you want at better prices.

Great video to watch...funny I have been watching your older vids recently, always enjoyable. Gotta say collect how you want-the repros or strictly releases aren't for me-I just emulate the game to play it if I can't afford it or justify the entry fee...I do feel seeing repro or strictly titles do lessen the impact of seeing a completely original collection, sometimes calling into question what else is repro..... Honestly matey you collect how u want, no one could deny, you have an epic collection and it's been awesome to follow your journey over the years. 😉👍

I know it’s not been as frequent as usual but I do try my best. to be honest, I’m not totally in love with the idea of collecting limited run games myself, but if there are games that do not justify the price then limited run is the route I will go down but it won’t happen very often. 3 nice games added there mate, super soccer i spent sooooo much time playing like most sports game its far better with friends! Oh you can make that manual a bit better mate dead easy, is it the front and the back or just the front? lay just the front page on your ironing board, with your iron use the !squirt water option" and hit the page with a spray of water, light pillow case on top then steam iron it, i reckon at least 50% of them will come out, it wont be mint but it'll be better. Re the after market releases it doesnt matter, its YOUR collection no one can tell you what YOUR collection looks like or when YOUR collection is complete (they can tell you if its a full set or not but thats not the issue) so as long as you are happy then its no one elses business, would they be looked on the same as the OG's no, is there any distinction between one of these "limited" releases and a fake repro copy.....imho no they are just more polished the nuts and bolts of what they are are exactly the same, they are both repro's just one tries to legitimatise it. Shame your not going to be at the market mate.

IMO your doing the right thing Jay being a collector having the box etc on the shelf. Am the same, I can wait years for bits on eBay, but would never spend any big money on a game. Lovely condition SNES games added, differently got that 3k game at the right time.

Yes, I think I am doing the writing with some games, but I still will be picking up originals but only ones that I want and also that I think I’ll worth the money. Otherwise I will be getting them from the likes of limited run. Thanks for washing my friend 👍🏻

Your SNES collection is epic and already plenty of hitters so buying these new versions makes perfect sense to me rather than pay the crazy prices of some original games No game is worth multiple hundreds for me even if I could afford them, I've got a few repros on the shelf of games I could never afford Fantastic looking Top Gear 2, great game but I prefer the first one myself I quite like Super Soccer myself for a football game for the nostalgia All the best mate 👍

Hey James😎 You can’t beat a bit of super soccer. It’s not the best game in the world, but for the price I paid and the condition it was in it was worth it . I will always be buying original snes over repo’s but some games that do not justify the price tag so I will go down the route of limited run . And they do hold their price and are still going up in price so win-win. Thanks for watching as always, all the best .

Nice to see you back so soon. Not so much a fan of super soccer. That top gear looks mint. I like any special stickers that are put on the boxes like that. We seem to be missing out on gold foil stickers in the modern age. You really don't see demolition man talked about much. One id like to try. For some reason I thought you already had wild guns.... personally I'd rather have a everdrive to play rather than a "official" repro... unless the repro offers something different like what retro bit do with the updates to the games themselves. That being said I do like seeing them as I know people do like them. Great stuff ✌️ Never grow up

Not a complete fan of super soccer myself. The condition it was in it was just too hard not to pick up and add to the collection. Limited run games for the super Nintendo aren’t that bad? I’d rather have a box out and a cartridge and a manual, regardless of it, being repo on the shelf and have it on an overdrive.. and to be fair, I won’t lose money on them anyway cause I seem to be steadily going up in price so win-win👍🏻 not played demolition man yet I’ll get round to eat maybe sometime this year 😂 All the best bud 👍🏻

Makes sense. Even the reputable strictly limited and limited run releases will end up increasing in value. Nothing wrong with buying those…. They are not fakes nor claiming to be repro. It is an official re-release from these companies.

Collect how you want. I collect mainly for ps2 and switch atm. I usally pick a holy grail each year to aim for. This year i want more ps2 horror games. I try to stay off ebay and use cex as much as i can. Find games cheap and trade in for voucher. It works for me as i collect very casually, maybe a game a month on average. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

@@sybersnake7 I've looked a few times I've been for work and holiday and always struggle. Never anything on Facebook marketplace and not come across a decent retro shop in the states I've been. Managed to get some games before.

Nice couple of new additions Jay. I had Demolition Man back when I had the collection. Can't remember if it went to Dave or the bloke in the Netherlands. Pretty fun game. I think you're making the right choice with the repros. Ghoul Patrol isn't good enough to justify the price of a real copy.. Have you ever been tempted to sell Rendering Ranger? Can't lie 3k would be bloody tempting lol. Zero just got announced as part of a new Evercade collection btw. Any chance of a collecting update vid? Would be nice to know which console shout collecting for ATM. Or are you only collecting SNES and just buying the odd game for the other systems?

Hey Pete Haven’t had the opportunity to play demolition man yet, but it is a game of wanted in the collection for awhile . Going down the repo route, it won’t happen very often, but as you said, it’s only gonna be for games that do not justify the price tag it holds. Im still gonna add heavy hitters to the collection . It’s just gonna take some time. Yes my friend, I will do a snes collection update sometime this year and hopefully add a few more to the collection. But I’m not just collecting for the snes. I’ve pulled out a forgotten collection from the loft and will be starting to collect for it again in 2024 video coming soon 👍🏻 As always, thank you for watching my friend all the best .

you can get rid of the wrinkles in the manual, look into how comic book collectors iron or press comic books, theres home ways to do it with iron and waxpaper etc, or if u know of a comic book store they may provide the service

They kinda are official though, all conserned companies, incl. Nintendo is oki okey with this. U know U can order most limited run stuff from Europe these days??? Many stores around europe will sell their games. All changed since limited run was bought up by the Swedish monster company Embracer group. The company with most IP.s in the world. So good that we dont have to import from the US in the future. A friend of mine is working for Embracer now, building up the biggest game collection in the world as a library........all consoles/pc.....all regions. Thats his job......buying games......lucky bugger.
