I'm happy I got into Super Monkey Ball as an adult cause those Gamecube classics are timeless video game gameplay

@@Wiziliz I'm going to try the original Gamecube games again once I start Mania so I can compare! I didn't have the patience as a kid, but now I'm so hooked.

Love this review! Im so happy more fans are coming back to the series and that this game is creating more fans. I really enjoy the online mini games. I just wish the lobby and such was more fleshed out. I really like the season stuff. But yeah, they need such work. Also enjoyed the rewind feature! I love that I'lll be able to see every level now!

For the question is there any games I should skip I have the answer and it requires a bit of history monkey ball 1 to deluxe absolutely the best games ever Banana blitz to blitz hd everyone thinks theese games are awful and I agree Mania to rumble its back and great the physics and controls aren’t as good as the originals and lacking some of the charm but still a great return to form So most of the games aren’t worth playing except for monkey ball 1, 2, deluxe, mania, rumble It’s worth saying deluxe on ps2 isn’t as good as Xbox and GameCube Also one last thing everything I said in this comment I generally what everyone in the community thinks anyway have a great day

@@josiebobos this is super helpful, thank you! I'm looking forward to playing Mania and seeing how it compares to the original. I'm so hooked on this series now, I can't stop playing it. Have you tried the DS and 3DS games? I really liked the 2D monkey art in the DS one, so I might give that one a shot, but I heard the 3DS one isn't great.

@@GameDreamery It isn't quite as polished as the original as far as sound design, gameplay or aesthetics go, I'd recommend rediving into those Gamecube games as well if you're looking to give the series more of a shot! I've heard the DS game is really cool, I'm interested in trying it someday! I played the 3DS one as a kid before getting into the series though, and from memory, not worth it. Lots of guard rails and stuff, less risk taking in the gameplay. I have no desire to come back to it, I'd recommend skipping it too. I think Splitz is considered underrated, though I haven't played to tell you whether it's worth it.

Rewind feature is for noobs lol kid friendly feature. Monkey Ball should be about persistence lol never give up attitude

@@Joeofthedragon haha yeahhh, I get it. Once I had kids, the amount of time I have to Git Gud just isn't the same as it used to be, so I'll happily play on easy mode, or use kid features if it means seeing the whole game.
