This mode feels like a missed opportunity. The concept is cool, but the focus on gigantic maze levels instead of short bursts of challenge really seems like it kills the fun. I couldn't even bring myself to watch Chaos after the tedium of Dodge Maze. Dark Banana Mode seemed way more fun and interesting.

Man, Kinda want competition mode from SMB1 on GameCube to be a thing in Banana Mania too! Where multiple players race to the goal in certain levels simultaneously? That’d be sick.

Golden banana mode is the worst execution of a good idea I’ve ever seen.

One time i was dreaming about me watching a monkey movie and the movie was called monkeys mission for the goleen banana

I find it funny how Labrynth (smb2) is the last level. It’s my favorite level and I always play it last in the OG story mode as a tradition!

@@MrCat-se7ws Yes. They changed the name in Super Monkey Ball DX to “Crazy Maze”, since that game’s “Labyrinth” is actually Super Monkey Ball 1’s Advanced 25. This is carried over into Banana Mania

Is this mode really only made up of 10 levels? I thought this would have been a toggleable gamemode for challenge mode, with impossible Bananas moved or removed. Maybe I'm thinking a little too ambitiously.

I think having maybe 3 sets of 10 levels would’ve been nice, cause this is a great idea for a separate mode (same with Dark Banana and Reverse Mode)

Stage 9 it's been a nightmare for me

It's really telling how Strata showed off the problems that come with the new camera.

Camera Sensitivity to 1 is your best friend

Bruh, how did it take me 5 tries on Dungeon, but I finished Chaos with ease? And I had jump equipped. Same thing with Crazy Maze

Dark banana mode imo, but strata made gb mode a challenge for sure
