Before Sunday School class in the morning, there was a game room with some cool games and things that kids could fool around with. There was this lil old tv in the corner with a GameCube and this game only. This was my go to every Sunday morning as well as a couple other kids. One Sunday, this new kid came in and met everyone and he was cool. But when he saw us playing this game he lit up like he was a long time friend. He then proceeded to speed run through like 12+ levels in a few minutes like no ones business. Not at this WR pace, but for a 10 year old kid, he was killin it. This video sparked that memory.

I have thought of a new speedrun category called “200%”. It would involve: -Starting from brand new save data -beating story mode on all three files -unlocking every single story and challenge mode stage for practice mode -Buying everything in the gift shop, including all 99 lives -saving at least one replay Timing starts on the creation of new save data and ends when all requirements above are fulfilled. This would be one giant endurance test of a run, but I would love to see someone do it.

I'm telling you!! I got cotton mouth from too much jaw dropping. This video is way more impressive than super mario sunshine speedrun shit I've seen I would've never thought!!! His precise aiming and the time it took to have it down pack is salute worthy🫡
