the ending of the fight was saddening yet a sense of relief. Amy is freed and finally gets to rest, and John can be relieved of his guilt through Amy's assurance.

I'm not particularly religious at all, but this game is very powerful. When John finally exorcises Amy and finishes his prayer with "Amen," while standing there covered in blood, it brings tears to my eyes. Such a moving moment.

Well when they performed the second death on her she died, so she was pretty much a zombie at that point. That's the reason she turns into skeletal remains instantly when John exorcises her at the end

it's not that hard actually! you just need to stay alive and not kill the boss for like, 4 minutes I think? then it triggers the cutscene. you're 100% safe during it and its like a breather

@@orvilleredenpiller338 I don't think you know what objective means. I played the game because I heard people say it was creepy but it did not scare or unsettle me once whatsoever. I was looking forward to being creeped out but was just kind of bored out of my mind the entire time.

-the vibe is off because no ones used to 8 bit style horror games. -its very quiet, which makes everyone unconformable if they're playing a game to be entertained. -the idea of loneliness and isolation is prevalent throughout, its like one man fighting against the world -the actual jump scares are really jarring because you've been looking at a top down screen with a few pixels of a man slowly walking to each destination, only to get jump scared by a fully rotoscoped and highly detailed demon/dude whos out to get you, it takes you back for sure.
