Love this soundtrack. I like how Ch 1-4 have more influence guitar and synth, and 5-6 have more influence on classical instruments. The diversity of this soundtrack is astounding.

Not really, he didn't compose the soundtrack. And he split with the composer and he couldn't use the music for the ps3/4 and vita. The new music was awful.

Sorry my mistake, I got Edmund mixed up Danny. Basically Danny and Edmund had a falling out and he refused to license the music for the ps4/vita release. It's the same reason why the new binding of isaac version has a new soundtrack.

This game never gets old. As well as its soundtrack :)

What shows that this OST is phenomenal is that people have a lot of favourites. Like, scroll through the comment section, and you will find at least 5 different favourites in a minute

Some of the best music for a game, ever!

All of Chapter 3 is golden, but the boss theme makes my heart smile

finally got around to getting this on PSN...it's fucking incredible. so difficult but so damn satisfying when you get all the nuances of the controls down and just completely slay the tougher levels. I'm really loving it, oh and the music is top notch

One of the greatest OSTs I've ever had the privilege of listening to! Every track was a joy to listen to. I'll certainly be revisiting the OST. =) Thanks for sharing!

Danny has such a unique style. I definitely hear alot of this in Necrodancer's OST

I love studying while listening to this OST because it gives this vibe of energy and determination! After seeing people doing their best at Super Meat Boy (I hope to one day own the game as well) you really understand that this music was made so you wouldn't go insane or give up after spending an hour on the same level.

Wow, this is the first I've sat down and just listened to the SMB OST, and I have to say: It's melting my face off. Best video game soundtrack since Risk of Rain!

Yeah, especially the Forrest dark world selection song... beatiful.

I first heard this instrumentation in "wacky wheels" in the early 90s and I'm really glad to see someone take it to the next level.........This really rocks!

After very long years, i beat this game without dying..

This is the best game soundtrack to listen to while editing or writing. Holy shit.

@TipTup if you have the Afterbirth+ DLC, you can install the 'Soundtrack menu' or the 'vanilla ost' mods, so you can hear the old ost again. I like both of the soundtracks though, plus the antibirth one. Incase you haven't beaten mom yet (without mods), you can't unlock achievements if you have mods turned on
