My dad played it when I was a kid and I always watched him and it’s probably the second game I’ve ever played in my life

As far as I remember, if you can knock Lakitu out of his cloud with a Grab Block or a Koopa Shell, you could ride in the cloud until it disappears.

Just want to ask this. Have any of you back around in 1991-1994ish call Nintendo’s Hotline to guide you through a part of any game? I remember calling them when I was about 11 and some guy actually told me how to go through the Forest of Illusion.

My dad helped me call the hotline one time. I remember being stuck in a castle in SMB3, and the guy straight up told me how to beat the part I was stuck on. It was super quick, they asked the world and stage number and guided me through the tricky part. I was amazed.

How do you even like this world. It's so boring, hard and annoying to complete this stupid world. And it's impossible to complete. This world was the reason I quit playing Super Mario World. Nintendo did a terrible job on this world. Edit: Oh! Now I understand! You're being sarcastic.

@@EmilyS-gk3st ironically gaming has gone backwards in that regard. Graphics and cinematic are everything and sometimes a solid game play experience is lost. I love that older game had greater limitation to where developers had to get creative.

As far as I remember, in Forest Of Illusion 2 near the Main Exit the Chargin Chuck makes it difficult by waking up all the Rip Van Fishes.

That final fortress has always been the hardest one if you ask me. I was gonna be surprised if he didn’t die atleast a couple times. Shit is Tom Clancy hard.

it's funny when i watch someone else's mario die over and over... god i don't know how i didn't just smash my nintendo playing these back in the day. at least now, i can save any point i want so i don't have to start over and over and over, going through the entire level over and over and over, going back to get feathers, yoshis and extra lives. but i always just ran it up to 99 so i didn't have to worry for a while.

Antfs10 Lol. Don't fall for the mushroom bait. Get the red mushroom and avoid the green mushroom. You'll see a clear box. Hit that and you'll see a feather. Get the feather so you can fly ... Avoid getting hit. You'll see a 'p' under one of the tunnels in mid-air. Fly onto the tunnel and go down. You'll see a key and that will open the path going South. There you go. Lol.
