and still to this day, THIS mario game, is the only mario game to feature voice acting beyond just grunts and other sound effects from the characters.

I never played the original on Gamecube. But i did remember watching Chuggaaconroy's Let's Play of the game.

Ok gather round kids it’s story time: so from the moment this game was revealed and the GameCube I wanted nothing more for Christmas from when I was 5 till I got it at 8 and I was so happy (plus the year before at 7 I got a teal gameboy color and super Mario bros. deluxe) and my older cousin would help me try and beat levels when he was around but sadly we never beat it and he passed away when I was 16 so when they made Mario 3d all stars I was so happy because I had a chance to finally beat it after all these years for both of us and I finally did beat it on March 8th 2018

I Absolutely Love playing *Super Mario Sunshine* from my Childhood Years! So glad they made this a part of *Super Mario 3D All-Stars* Video Game for the Nintendo Switch! I love seeing Bowser and Bowser Jr. in this game! Bowser Jr. was Super Cunning, Smart, Mischievous and Evil, to disguise himself as Shadow Mario, paint over Isle Delfino, and framed Mario for the whole Painting Fiasco in this game.

Probably Luigi is having a psicological therapy due to the ghost trauma and chilling at his house
