These costumes are great. Honestly this is the kind of stuff I like to see amiibo do in games.

So, you gain invincibility, but you still receive knockback? Weird. I like how the game recognizes what non-Mario amiibo (in this case, Mewtwo) you use rather than just go "This is an amiibo".

LackedRoom140 No, it gives you the Gold Mario outfit. the N64 Metal one is only obtainable by buying it after getting a certain number of moons.

This is why you want to buy Animal Crossing amiibo card packs. Each card is its own amiibo, which is incredibly useful in games that allow all amiibo to unlock things, like Odyssey, for example.

Mario Cereal, when scanned in, does the same as "other" amiibo. It reveals a Power Moon.

It’s a cool enough video, but I really think the editing could be tighter. Show how the amiibo robot works once, then just show the character transitions, then go right into what Mario looks like. No need to show the robot conversation every single time.

The showcased Mario invisibility stunt was the only time I ever used my amibo in that way

Peach legitimately breaks Odyssey. I mean, you can use her amiibo to basically give yourself infinite hearts. This is perfect with boss battles (especially the rematches in Mushroom Kingdom).

Its still fair, though. You can either pay $60-90 for the game, depending on region, and work to unlock everything, or be stupid and pay $15-25, again depending on region, per amiibo for each costume.
