Kinda reminds me of back when the internet wasnt accessible so you read tips and tricks to get codes and cheats and such and one article was yoshi secret pokemon.

The amount of people that don't know this level is inspired to EYEZMAZE, the creators of tens of games called GROW something, it's surprisingly big.

I was actually thinking of making a level like this

Fire Flower changes forms, or makes it Bowser Mushroom evolves it Spikes make it a Spiny, kills it, or makes it Bowser Jr.

Cue the "Your Koopa is evolving" jokes. Sometimes the comment section is so unoriginal that it's still funny. Also this is a really neat level, props to the creator

I think fusioning flower and spike would make more sense to give bowser junior and when you give him the mushroom becomes bowser but dispite that it’s a really good concept

Bowser & Bowser Jr. were originally Koopas, But a mushroom saved them from getting spiked. A fire flower fell onto one Bowser, and is fully grown!

Besides the obvious parallel with Pokémon, I am also reminded of the series of "GROW" games in Flash, which are based on selecting items in the right order to complete the task, and sometimes have unique alternate endings. It's rather nice =)
