Well, time to go to Game Theory Reddit and make a request about how Mario and the gizmos are still alive, but the robot is entirely GONE.

Let's be real here. Mario galaxy had by far the most creative iteration of mecha bowser. Like he was purposely not shaped like bowser but rather, what would bowser look like if he was a toy robot. And I think that's ingenious. And the way you destroy him is ingenious too. Why didn't they bring back that design and made it into an actual boss fight instead of just taking bowser and turning him into a robot?

One of the only boss who does not damage you by touching you.

Rodrigo Parra Palma, masterpiece of a game? Are you kidding me!? Mario Galaxy is nothing but a sad excuse for a Nintendo classic. People praise it for reasons that are literally contradictory, and it can be harshly difficult at times, for no reason. It uses stupid roadblocks to artificially expand the difficulty of levels, and it’s inconsistent with the placement of its own concepts and ideas. It’s all around a bad game.

Funnily enough, I had believed this was a boss before seeing on the Internet that players didn't think of it as one, since the way to defeat it isn't too different from how Megaleg

(0:01) I just love the launch star trail that leads to this planet. Like the camera angle and the flight trail is so freaking awesome!

I fucking love this music and it's even better with the mecha sound effects esp at 0:54

This was the most memorable levels for me, this and the bouldergeist

everybody is gangsta til bowser raps in morse code

I never even knew this was supposed to be a boss, but now it seems way better than Mecha-Bowser from Mario Sunshine, where you ride on the rollercoaster and shoot water rockets at it with FLUDD, spraying its Bullet Bills and fire breath with him as well. Platforming is a better way to destroy a robot Bowser than just shooting it with rockets. If you think about it, destroying its chest plate and arm then the stones on top, the robot is destroyed in three hits, like many other Mario Galaxy bosses! This looks so neat!

I loved this lvl as a kid (: good times

As a kid, I figured the robot looks nothing like Bowser. Looking back, I see that the spiked collar, spiny shell, and the red stuff that resembles his hair.

You can actually break the boulders at the top without the Spring mushroom

this is'int a boss because someone made a video where you can skip the whole thing by wall jumping his right arm

Not an actual boss fight. Just a weird destructible planet.

Yes. You break some of its body off and the final blow is to make it explode. If you think about it, it takes three hits to go down, like many Mario Galaxy bosses.

A Grady By comparison, yes, it is. If Megaleg had something like Mecha-Bowser, it would've ranked higher than Mecha-Bowser, but both these robot bosses are fun nonetheless!
