I've never played the flash game, but just from the looks alone this is an incredible recreation! I love the textures on the moving platforms, as they really stand out to the rest of the stage. You've also managed to make the 2D areas look just as brilliant as the 3D zones, every level looks so fun to play!

Immensely beautiful, congrats! In addition, SM64(and DS), and even more the two SMGs, are my absolutely favorite games / things ever!

The minute I saw those red and grey blocks the memories of the incredible flash game came flooding back! The idea of a mod of a game based off a fan game of the game itself is just absolutely incredible! This seems like a truly revolutionary idea for modding! Can't wait to see how it turns out!

As someone who saw nearly every stage of development and was briefly involved, I couldn't of imagined the level of quality this shows off. Proud of you Alex :)

wow, its insane. i used to watch lot of SMG2 in my childhood ( because i didn't have a consol ) and at the same time i played super mario 63 on the old family computer. it bring back so many memories. thanks for this masterpiece

To think after all these years the Super Mario Galaxy modding community is still thriving and pumping out titles every other year or so, all the while all there is left or reminiscent of the series at Nintendo is Rosalina being a peach clone and freaking rabbids.

I used to play SM63 a lot as a kid but now many years later someone, pray tell, to upgrade that 2D into 3D! If only that was the same ported in both 64 and Sunshine, we'd get to see All Stars 63 lol

My immense disappointment of super mario 3d all stars is what motivated me to work on this project. I wanted to make a mod that combines Super Mario 64 Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy into one game, then i realized there was already a game that did that - Super Mario 63 and ever since 3d all stars came out i've been working on this project

@@alexsmg5298 Yeah, it is that Nintendo is desperate enough to pull away that nostalgia and seeing how very lacking the ports were made me not want to buy a copy while I still have the main games. I hope you the best of luck in producing this recreation! I wonder if this will have the key areas and plot scenes I recognize from the flash game.

I'm not really sure the "first version" will contain the 7 main levels from the original game - bob-omb battlefield, snowman's land, hazy maze cave, boo's mansion, tall tall mountain, lethal lava land and rainbow ride but I was actually planning to start making a new galaxy mod with completely original levels after this mod comes out but we'll see
