The extra lives thing has definitely become a feature, these days. It's in 3D World too and you'd probably need it to get up to the max life count of 1110, shown as three crowns.

So many* levels: “many” is for a number of individual things together whereas “much” is more like for a quantity of something (say a glass of milk having “too much” in it). Just throwing that out there, since I see people confusing the two words, especially people for whom English isn’t their native language.

Haedox Yeah it was ok, but i was running the software that's designed for PC on Mac, which wasn't ideal, but it's all i can do till my PC comes back from repairs. Hopefully the next 3DS game will be a 60FPS episode.

That first glitch happened to me once by accident I was so freaked out XD plus a couple of the other glitches

Theres acually huge cheese on the "frog coin glitch level" that lets u skip the entire stage by gliding over the gap with a tanooki suit.

Infinite 1-up tricks have never been a glitch and never will be. Possibly an exploit in the first game but since then it's always been intentional.

In the video, he said it’s not a glitch but a reference to the actual glitch from the original

Fun fact: The last glitch shown in the video can also be done but with bowser on screen, it will freeze him, freeze you, and not drop the bridge. You just need to hit the button to drop the bridge before you trigger the bowser scene, which is impossible without cheats of course.

I’ve seen so many videos on speedrunning glitches, game breaking glitches… It’s kinda nice to see some fun and utterly pointless ones for a change.

Finally did the title screen double music glitch, and already used the infinite lives glitch. Btw found a glitch that's with the infinite lives one. If you make the camera move left and right, the "1up" sign will go all over the screen :)

5:22 learned this funny glitch in World 7-5where the camera freaks out and the camera glides to 2 fake goombas. Every time I do this glitch it makes me laugh.

The Fall Hover Glitch works with the normal Tanooki as well as the statue Tanooki!

To be fair, as a bonus, you should've added all unintentional level skips, like W7-1 Tanooki Skip. Great glitches and vid either way!

I did the baddy box glitch, and yes. It does sound like the beanstalks when you crouch.

The glitch that starts at 2:30 seems like a good one... *goes to level* WHY WON'T THE WHITE RACCOON TAIL APPEAR???? *restarts game and advances until level 2-4* Lets try this again... *Does glitch successfully* OMG WHY?!

Not sure if if it hadn't been discovered when this video was being made or if it was just skipped over, but there's another glitch for this game: If you long jump perpendicular to the direction you want to go from a high point (such as the secret Luigi platform in world 2-3) then move towards your destination, you can get a lot of speed.

I've been binge-watching your Son Of A Glitch videos the past three days and I love them. question: can you do Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword or Phantom Hourglass? I love those three games and glitch videos for those games are rare, so I'd love to see one.

This was the first (and as of now, only) game I've 100%-ed. It was really fun! I encourage you to try. I am working on 100%-ing Odyssey

I don't know if this is really a glitch or not, but it's probably not supposed to happen. In W7-1 at the very beginning of the stage if you long jump just at the right spot, you can get across the water you need to fall in to do the level and can beat the level extremely fast, I got it in 9 and my brother in 7!

@@epicgamermoment Even if they didn't intend it, it's not a glitch, it's just good timing.

With the infinite 1up exploit/glitch its a lot faster to use the first koopa, just stand on the question block, face the wall, and jump on it while its somewhat in the middle. Its really helpful becuase you can do it until the timer runs out, and when it does you'll just spawn at the checkpoint so thats pretty neat

About the baddie box, you can do it in special 8-bit land by getting the star from bonus power up block and THEN do the same

if you guys remember the weird capture glitch from Super Mario Odyssey, it works with every enemy that I tried just in case you were wondering and after you do the weird capture glitch don't walk into the enemy cuz even though they attack the fake Mario don't walk into them cuz they still hurt you

Here's a cool little exploit I found out that's REALLY EASY but time saving to do!! Go into seven-one and make sure you're wearing a Tanooki suit, put the tanooki suit on, then go to the ledge just before you drop into the water at the beginning of the stage. Now, all you have to do is wall jump from one of the stone walls, use the tanooki suit to glide to the other side where the flagpole is, and boom, you're done the level in like 20 seconds.. It's such an obvious exploit and I can't believe they missed it!

Ive had a hatless Mario/Luigi glitch that usually happens when I'm in the middle of playing a level and close the game without saving. When I go back and lose my tanooki powerup, they won't have their hat, but they will when you become small.

this is awesome,I think you should do a NASCAR 15 son of a glitch

2:33 I know this is pretty late but this also happens in Mario Odyssey, in Metro Kingdom, go to the area with the letters that spell Mario, if the camera is facing the pedestal of the letters, tilt around 135° to the right and you will see a man on the edge of a map cheering on nothing, but if you get closer to him, he'll disappear.

I remember getting this game for Christmas and beating it the first day

When I started watching your KZread channel when your intro played my parents came down and heard the intro and thought it said something else

I performed a glitch where regular Mario/Luigi isn't wearing a hat and the small Mario/Luigi is. T perform it you first need 2/3 crowns you get when collecting enough lives. Go to world 1-2 and perform the infinite lives glitch until you have all three crowns. Once you have 3/3 crowns, pause the game and select "To Course Seletion". Once you're at the map selection screen, Mario/Luigi will either have a cap or no cap depending if you're Mario/Luigi before or after getting a mushroom.
