They're still going strong till now and just celebrated 17 years together. Attended their 2day concert in manila last dec. 17-18 and im happy that there are still new and younger fans there with most of us who are now working fans. 🥺

When I wasnt in the kpop world yet, I already knew superjunior. They were on news before. 💙

I know Super Junior when I was 13, and start to learned english to watch their content, but back then eng sub videos weren’t easy to find like now, so I also learned Korea, now I can speak 3 languages basically because of Super Junior 😂😂

I think it's normal they feel there is a gap between senior and junior, you guys don't need to worry. Because part of the Korean culture that I know really respect their seniors. Even as far as I know super junior often plays with their juniors like Exo and seventeen. Sometimes I also feel that juniors don't have the effort to get closer to their seniors, the attitude of juniors is now very different from when I was, where we can still playing and friendly but still polite. In some events we often tease Super Junior and call them Ahjussi 🤣 it's just a joke, because no matter how old they are now, we are also growing and they gave very pleasant memories in my teens, even now I have entered the age of 25. But I often see a lot of young baby elves (maybe around 12-16) like to call super junior as oppa. They are legends and even still standing well today. It is undeniable that the 2 generation of K-Pop made K-Pop worldwide, SUPER JUNIOR, SNSD TVXQ, BIG BANG, 2PM, SHINEE.

@@dokassi7976 Nope. Award wise yes but we have to remember that SUJU being banned from the award show gave many more opportunities to win. That's the reason they were banned in the first place. SUJU accomplishments no one else can touch that unattainable list.

Well, that's how life works. When SJ was considered "older" gen, EXO was called "younger". Now they have NCT, and it's time for EXO to be called as "older" gen. That's life. But thankfully, even as "older" gen SJ is still as funny, interesting and humble as their debut period. They set a very good example for their younger gen. ❤

Been listening to Suju ever since they premiered in 05, a big introduction to K-pop for me. Much love to all the guys ❤

9:16 Tbh I'm from the youner generation myself (I'm 20 now) but even I have trouble communicating with 06-07 liners. Their interests are just so different from mine (as expected) tho that wasn't what made me hesitant to approach them, it was their view towards adults. Once my online friends, ranging '06-'07 born & below found out I was 18 years old two years ago, their behavior changed. They became more harsher towards me whenever I would share my problems with them as to why can't I work, why I still have certain restrictions blah blah. Literally everyone Ik said they didn't had enough maturity even at 18. And also, after reading comments online like "they have sucha age gap" from literally younger ones mind you (my own young online friends agreed to this) this makes me hesitant to approach to younger ones, although there can be very open minded younger ones too, they're a rarity & honestly most of even us & folks below us show the same attitude. As if they really don't need anyone around & they can manage things on their own. Yeah I'll blame younger generation. My own generation can be shit but folks below us are mind boggling ngl

I do pottery and I'm in a class with the youngest being 18 and the oldest probably close to 80. We all joke and chat together. Age doesn't even feature unless we make a joke about it. One of the reasons is that seniority isn't such a big deal here. We do sometimes call older people "aunt" or "uncle", but there is usually at least a 20 year gap for that.

Super junior was already put aside around that time by sm, and they can't even release album for their 10th anniversary to not fight against exo popularity. At the same time, bts was getting attention (with I need you), but not as famous as exo who already debuted 3 years before. Although most probably the host just deliberately mentioned group from the same company.
