I love that the different lyrics for both of them are reflected in the delivery like you described and that's shown in the plot of the MV too! Hyuk is on the rage stage of grieving, still voicing his regret, insulting himself and lost (scenes of him wandering in the dark). He's seated in the back of his own car probably for esthetic because that doesn't make much sense xD but gives the idea of him going wherever to flee Meanwhile Donghae is still depressed but going to therapy and accepting to cut off those remaining toxic feelings. Hyuk is lost in a road but Hae doesn't seem like it even walking in a widely open space, it relaxes him and he's starting to see the roses and thorns that hurt him, so he can decide to get rid of them.
