I don't understand why people say Luffy can't beat certain people, personally I think he can win against anyone as long as Gear 5 works like I think it does. Gear 5 powers are linked to two things: Imagination and sheer Will power. As long as Luffy truly and genuinely Believe he can win, the rules of reality will bend to his Will until he win. Just like in Kaido fight, the One piece universe typically doesn't follow cartoon rules but because Luffy Wanted to win, the universe rules changed to make it happen! If that's what Luffy can do subconsciously, just imagine what he could do purposely!

As a luffy I can saw Luffy cant scratch beerus, Luffy's DF only allows the user to think something like he has fire powers or bend light. It ain't gonna create an entire multiverse.

@@Sen-ki- sim na percepção da câmera, mas também na percepção da câmera o luffy pode se telestransportar no gear 2. o que o saitama fez não foi diferente de um clone de velocidade e não existe nenhuma prova no manga ou fora que ele tenha distorcido o próprio espaço pra estar em mais de um lugar ao mesmo tempo

Luffy V.S Saitama: depending on what Gear Luffy's using Luffy has the potential to make Saitama's attacks completely useless due to insane durability and the lack of being harmed by Kaido's spiked mace although in his base form Luffy is most likely being damaged by Saitama in one way or another

@TheVeryLastCard yeah that collision was TWO Saitama strength punches colliding with each other meaning: in order for Saitama to make the same outcome by himself he'd have to slam his fists together as strongly as his and Garou's fists collided, BUT as Saitama would be receiving recoil from both of his fists, Saitama could suffer EXTREMELY MINOR nerve damage as well as making his fists sore due to colliding with each other as it isn't known (to me) if Saitama is still unable to hurt himself with his own strength (I am aware that Saitama did not hurt himself while attempting to kill a mosquito, even though he slapped himself in the face when the mosquito was on one of his cheeks). While Luffy is potentially capable of withstanding one of Saitama's normal punches while in Gear 4th (I am unsure which type of Gear 4th is the one that is the "perfect" one but I think it was called GUTS, I am referring to the "Ultimate Gear 4th form" that Luffy used against Kaido (please keep in mind that I am not caught up in One-Piece at all as I'm still at the long-ring long-land arc I have not finished watching the I believe it's called Davy-back fight? (I have lost track of what I was commenting so I'm going to end my comment here)

Saitams beats ts out of luffy its straight up a no diff fight

The intro vid was wrong on so many levels, goku IN Z ran 500+ times faster than light, passing through an entire reality in seconds. Just that solos most characters because it’s near infringe amounts of speed in super, and knowing that near infinite speed is equivalent to near infinite power and durability, it’s over.

Ngl but what makes luffy gear 5 mode too over powered/OP is he cam make imagination into reality, like for example, luffy can imagine a seraphim ace or can imagine to make his lifespan, much longer.
